The book makes mention of mobile objectives. Pg 16 under "Attacking Bastions." Since bastions are always objectives, pg 11 bold text in upper left.
I remember thinking that the platform with defiler legs someone posted in the p and c section here would make a nifty mobile bastion. Or make a baneblade an objective... baneblade for free... mmm.
Really opens up possibilities for that reserve bastion stratagem.

Not going to be allowed. I'd just say 'No'. I'd refuse to play anyone who did that as well if i'm being truly honest.

We always play that everything can be destroyed at my LGC objectives are the only exception but you can put a crater round them *If they are in the open* or you destroyed the building it was in/on.
solves alot of problems.

Well, yesterday I conducted a Planetstrike Apocalypse Game.
It was awesome. I dropped in my Valks as flyers, shot them about the board, rocketing everything in sight, and then switch to Hover and landed my infantry next to a bunch of Necrons holding the objective.
Shortly therafter, there were no Necrons, only me, standing on the objective.

I still want to use something retarded like a superheavy tank as a mobile bastion. It would certainly help the defender in larger games...

The first mission is the one that everyone is tired of. If there was a change in what a scoring unit was such as along the lines of city fight the missions would be much more enjoyable.
I'm going to start a Planetstrike campaign at our store this weekend. I'll let you guys know how it goes.

Done that already. The dangerous terrain tests never kill enough of them to worry any attacker.

Or use the "Imperial Dice" you never roll above a 3, I swear they're loaded, Planet Stike with Cityfight intergated, mmm..... Sounds like fun. Though I say never trust the 50 man combine squad, one, again ONE marine scout not only broke a 50 man squad in combat, but when they ran he procceded to rip them to pieces, there were no survivors when he caught them. That is the one glitch in the system I really hate, one freakin scout killing 48 men, that was so cheap!

Ouch. I mean, the Scout would've run out of ammo before he reached 40 XD

That is what a close combat weapon is for. It never runs out of ammo.
