-PREMISE: After the liberation of Shibara II, the crusade forces now turn to Shibara I, the desert planet. There, they join up with Rogue Trader Melissia, who is leading the combined remains of the human resistance on the planet, and begin to purge the planet.
-What I Need: If you want to join, provide me the following:
[b][u]FORCE NAME, NUMBER[/u][/b] -Commander name -Infantry groups (if applicable) -Armour groups (if applicable) -Artillery groups (if applicable) -Airborne groups (if applicable)
This force will be roughly equivalent to a company for Guard, equivalent to 25 Marines and one vehicle (not including basic Rhino transportS) for the Astartes, and 50 Sisters and 3 vehicles (not including basic Rhino transports) for the Sororitas. Guard companies may include limited Sororitas allies if they'd like, but Marines, due to their power, should remain as individual groups.
Mechanized or Aircav units would probably function better than infantry squads, at least initially, as the terrain is generally open desert style, with some mountainous areas, a single hive city, and widely spread out factory complexes.
THe thread will probably start saturday.

I think you'll find that Rogue Trader Melissia is drastic a change from Commissar Kyznetsov. She is quite a character, and I immagine her subjugated xeno will be VERY fun to play.

And that's the final Marine detatchment I'm accepting. Forces from two separate chapters is about normal for a crusade,, and anything more is usually abnormal.

To add to this, the following forces will be NPC forces that are deployed after we capture a defensible location (which is the first objective of the roleplay).
544th Shibaran Siege Company -Company Commander Alex Vanis -150 Guardsmen -Sizeable Munitorum and Mechanicus personnel, supplies -5 Colossus Siege Mortars -10 Basilisks
827th Shibaran Infantry Company -Company Commander Alessia Stonewall --Command Chimera -300 Guardsmen -Various support personnel, supplies
These will, essentially, be guarding the supply base while we go off to get all the glory. Makes the story more believable.

If noone adds in a Sororitas force, I'll create a small force for myself to roleplay with, representing the remnants from a Sororitas shrine that was overtaken that had the good sense to retreat so that they could fight another day.

Edit: Dropped most of the General Infantry. Added in some Bikes and Horsemen. Speed will be of the essence.

That's a sizeable group there, unfortunately a good number of those infantrymen will be in pretty sad shape unless they're specifically desert-trained troops. If they are,then accepted, just understand that most of the force is mechanized so your infantry will be lacking the speed needed to keep up, but they'll at least be able to fortify areas we take easier (I could always create NPC companies for that though...). If that's your final list, I'll add it in.
By the way, natives to Shibara I consider 100F (37.8C) to be a nice cool winter day.

Most of them are carry overs from the planetary last stand. So, they've got field experience and are meant for fortifying purposes. My boys are better in cities and woodland, but they go where they're sent. I can also modify what I've got. This was more of a starting point.
