My guys will not be the ones who fire the first shot, that is for sure.
They're coming to protect the hu-Mons! (but tension is very good.)

What is the terrain going to be like? At the moment, it's quite simply an endless plain with desert for all to see, although the Eldar and Astartes, along with any humans that have enhanced vision (using binoculars or cybernetic eyes), can see a fortress in the west, well beyond the distance a normal human's eye can see. I'll draw a map later today.

Small dunes in this area, it's mostly flat, making it a great landing zone. To the north and east, the dunes get much, much larger, and a sandstorm is forming to the north-northeast just barely at the edge of an astartes or eldars' vision. The distances covered by this task force are going to be quite large compared to "Hopeless Defiance".

Note that when I say small dunes, they're still plenty large enough to hide a chimera or rhino from vision. The larger dunes to the north and west are almost mountainlike in size.

Helmian: I'll allow it, but only because it makes more sense to have a crusade force led by a chaplain or other higher ranking Astartes.

New Arnhem tanks are painted like so... And, again, the troops wear Khaki fatiuges and light brown Cadian armour (without the shoulder pads), and old school Cadian helmets. Reds

The Ork's attire is similar to the attire that the Shibara I soldiers wear, althought hey tend to be closer to a cross between Tallarn and Cadian in general setup (albeit not in beliefs, as they aren't as pious as the Tallarn, for which the other Shibaran planets are thankful).

And what is the fortress? It's a former Imperial fortress, circular in shape with four bastions (north, east, south, and west) and four gates (NW, NE, SW, SE), and a single larger bastion in the middle which leads to a small underground complex that functions as a supply base. It's been orkyfied, but not to the point where it's damaged irrepairably.

I'm probably going to have to collaberate with Reds or someone else, so they can place beacons so I can deep strike my forces. Of course, I could just send down my own task force to do it.....

The half of my eldar force who are in disguise have spotted somebody's formation and are heading towards it. Who's formation should it be?

My commanders are all at the HQ, but if you want to meet up with my Salamander detachment, that's fine. Sgt. McVane probably took them out for some recon.
