So, this is my latest RP scheme.......
The premise is, you and your forces are the last Imperial Forces on planet, hold the line until you are ordered to pull out. Melissia is the designated commander for the players.
The rules are simply, you can control any number of companies and units, although you can not number more than 1575 effective fighting soldiers. Please do not actually use that number, and try to use lower numbers, as I am also accounting for the fact that your units have been fighting for years.
However, if you list a unit at full strength, just say the state of the casualties (light, heavy, etc)
If you make a vehicular regiment, you cannot have more than 150 vehicles.
Equipment is not in short supply. Your soldiers have access to many types of weapons, with many different models and variations of each. Manpower is in short supply, and there is little chance of reinforcements. You can try to press gang civilians, although I can guarantee that will not end well.
As for my own personal forces:
482nd Elements[/u]
1st Company
Captain Kirlia Asis
245 soldiers.
Light casualties.
Notes:
Like the other 482nd companies, 1st company had arrived just in time to join the rearguard, as such, unlike their allies, they still remain rather strong in terms of manpower and morale. 1st company consists of the best marksmen in the regiment, with a high proportion of snipers. They are also heavily armoured, wearing high tech Carapace Armored Suits (CAS) that increases protection, communication, and aiming abilities. 1st company CAS also contain prototype camo generators, allowing them to more blend into their surroundings. However, this generates a considerable amount of internal heat, making them more visible on Thermal readings.
Unlike the other companies, 1st coy CAS and uniforms are red with gold highlights.
3rd Company
Captain Danel Keyan.
245 soldiers.
Light casualties.
Notes:
3rd company is a scouting company, equipped for light warfare and hit-and-run attacks, although not to extent of of 7th company. They also double as skilled marksmen, although not as skilled as 1st company. They too have prototype camo generators, although they are more skilled in the usage of the generators, and can become near invisible to the naked eye.
They were the standard 482nd colors, black with dark blue highlights.
7th Company
Captain Kir Ria.
245 soldiers
Light casualties
Notes:
7th company consists of highly trained, veteran drop troopers. They excel at hit-and-run attacks, along with all aspects of guerrilla warfare, able to strike fast and hard, and fade into the background with prototype camo generators. 7th company isn't trained for standard siege warfare, although they are adept at leading raids outside of the defensive perimeter.
They were standard 482nd colors
2nd Company
Brevet Captain Miral Nene.
70 soldiers
No casualties. (If you make a unit this absurdly small, then I will accept you having taken no casualties.)
Notes:
A small force sent by Major Xiang, Nene is in command of two platoons to get used to larger unit commands. 2nd company are among the best fighters in the regiment, highly skilled in shock troop tactics. They are also among the best close combat specialists, unleashing bounds of fury on their enemy.
They were standard 482nd colors, however, these colors somehow seem to be even darker than usually, making their laughing skull crest stand out.
