I know we're all in to 40K here, but why don't we try something different, take a break from it and do a different genre?
I have a few ideas myself, but I wonder how many other people have had this idea?
This board doesn't say it's IG exclusive, or 40K exclusive... so as long as it focuses on IG and 40K, I think it's okay to have one or two non-40K roleplays.
So, toss around ideas, maybe we can agree on something.

Was the RP using real starship troopers, the starship troopers from the movie, or the roughnecks cartoon incarnation of the troopers? The natural choice here would be Warhammer Fantasy. The less likely choices: Forgotten Realms, Halo, Star Wars, Star Trek, Harry Potter, or Warcraft. |

Pirate stuff(please none of that silly disney business, I want blood!)
Zombie stuff(always good for a few laughs)
Fantasy style samurai/ninja(fudal setting, plenty of mythology)
Gangsters/Yakuza
Post Apocalyptic
Wild West Steam Punk
Vampires/Demons(though perhaps not these days... *shudder*)
anyway...just tossing some things around...not really sure I even have time for another rp.

Zompocalypse, in either feudal, modern, or fantasy settings...
but I'm not much good outside 40K...so I'd have to wing it until I got the hang of it. (X,x)

I wouldn't mind a non 40k rp. I have a merc/vigilante character I often use for these sort of things.

*For those that might be surprised... by this, I mean classic Dragonball, not the overdone sequel series that most people probably know better... it's a bit more suitable for roleplay, as the sequels basically were "hey, let's jerk off Goku some more!" for a few hundred episodes.

I'm good for any modern or up RP, although I guess a Feudal/Middle Ages/ Fantasy RP would be okay, depending on the background/story.

I vote for either Starship Troopers cause its got such a vast array of weapons we could use,as well as a common enemy (the bugs) that also come in many varrying types,or it can also be set to putting down an armed rebellion in some outer colony.
I would also vote for Zombies,cause they're just plain freakin' awesome ;D
