A few friends and I have been working on this for a apocalypse battle the last few weeks. It’s not finished yet and we need to put it all together and get it painted. It is made primary out of Styrofoam and mortar to give the board some texture. More pictures will come as we get more work done. We got a deadline in 11 days so there will soon come more pictures. The titan entrance will be defended by the imperial guard and space marines vs. primarily nids and chaos. Whole board Sorry about the blurry pictures. We will get a better camera soon! Trenches both to tanks and infantry Main gate to be placed in the gap at the backwall at the top of the stairs. Trenches closeup For size comparison the little black dot at the top of the stairs is a lizardmen skink. We got a lot of it painted last night but unfortunately I could not take any pictures but they will come later today or tomorrow. More pictures can be seen here i866.photobucket.com/albums/ab226/jacoo

That is indeed pretty awe inspiring. Having a titan pose on those stairs would be a godly photo

Thanks Yes a titan would be the best a great thing to pose on the top. unfortunately no one of us got a titan But I Ame planing on building the feet and the lower legs of a warhound or maybe a warlord if I can find a good pdf with some templates. It would then be placed on the road in the table edge so it would look like a destroyed titan there have fell "out of" the table. I'm also working on a guardsmen who have been run down by a tank to lay on the road. But we should get the running water and the last of the trenches and sides on the top painted today. So I will post some new pictures in the evening. Probably with a better camera. I'm currently using my mobile phone

Simply amazing! But there doesn't seem much in the way of cover at the top of the stairs. Will you put that on later or are the guardsmen just going to have to tough it out!

That Space Wolf looks like he's made of candy. Sounds like a Hetlan idea...

There will be some sandbags on the stairs for cover, a tower, a building and a agris defense line at the top plus some rubble. We guardsmen need some cover Warhammer candy... Hmm sounds delicious We also did get a lot more done today and yesterday and put some guardsmen, nids and buildings on to see how it would look like. And there are a few more pictures of the wip in my photobucket. For the Emperor!

Thanks Yes a titan would be the best a great thing to pose on the top. unfortunately no one of us got a titan Goodness, you're making a titan entrance so I automatically inferred that there'd be a titan to go along with that entrance. It's an apocalypse battle, so do you at least have some other impressive super-heavy to stick up there? And Requiem is right, that Space Wolf does look like it's made of candy.

Very epic indeed, but I have a hard time seeing anything short of a titan using those stairs.

Very epic indeed, but I have a hard time seeing anything short of a titan using those stairs. We will make some metal plates which would be bolted to the stairs kinda like for wheelchairs and bikes on normal chairs.

thats amazing you should do a giant ork shop The next project (Starting tomorrow) is a warhound titan (If we can find any good templates) and after that we will make the board a bit wider because our nid and orc player complaining about it was to small for there massive infantry. And after that maybe the inside of the facility.

wow i really like this! also googling how to scratch build a titan can yield some good results, i got an incredibly detailed template for a titan awhile ago, but i figured that i am going to build my force ALOT before i can even THINK about a titan, so sadly i cannot send you said template
