Why are you paying for the splinter cannons twice, when you get up to two for the cost? It's like getting one free in the new codecies.
And what would you do against gunlines?

2 for one?
I read it as up to 2 for XX each.
I've only ever played against marines with my DE...that being the case I'd probably take lances over splintercannons to begin with for 2 bs4 shots that wound on 2s and allow no save plus damage armor rather than 8 shots that wound on 4+ and allow saves and cannot scratch armor...though I'm not too sure about that. (tough decision.)
against gunlines...
pray.
Probably commit all my speedy elements to taking out the biggest threats, jumping them with the passengers of all four raiders while the raiders themselves tag team with the ravager to target armor or even small squads of heavy infantry while the warrior take aim at whatever is left.

Hey Ymmot, Raiders are their Transports right. Anyways Just from the army list I'll tell you what it seems to me. This army relies on extremely speedy reactions. Raiders form a vanguard to block the ravanger and warriors to soften up the lines you assualt as soon as the raiders get in range. the problem I see with this is if you're Archon or Drachite gets shot down the raider's assualt will be fairly deminished.

pretty much...I lose my tooled up HQs and I'm kinda sunk...the other raiders will be more concerned with keeping them out of a direct line of fire...if the ravager draws fire away from the raiders I guess I am fine with that.
turn one my whole army will likely turbo boost 24 inches...after that I begin to move in for the kill. (that is if I am able.)
It has worked for me before...and those pesky space marines never saw it coming... mostly because before that my DE army were seen as an easy kill, well he stopped smiling when I straight up annihilated him on turn 3.
I've played them once again since then...didn't do so well, but at least I didn't get splattered all over the place like I have so many times before.

Oh yes, and I quite enjoyed the ridicule my opponent recived from the rest of our gaming group when they all discovered he lost so horribly to my "wussy" Dark Eldar.
Oh day I hope to let them all know how it feels.

You have the Iron Templar Marines support for when that day comes.

Well, within the codex it uses the phrase "... for X points each." So I take that to mean that if there's no "each," then it's a package deal.

Possibly... that is a judgment call based on how evil I am feeling, it isn't like they couldn't use all the help they can get. Hetlan Really, supporting the Dark Eldar? Lovely...I'll have my haemonculus pressure wash the abattoir in preparation for our honored guests.

For larger DE games have you ever tried the Webway Portal? It seems so expensive, but it must have some strategic use. I like the list. Very fast and loads of combat madness. Ravager for anti-tank. Actually I have a secret Dark Eldar army waiting for my command to attack - hiding just outside the M25.

WWP is great in 2K and up games. I plan on making a fancy marker for it if I ever start a real dE army.

Haven't had a charce to use it just yet, but I like the way it sounds on the page. Largest game I've had with my DE was around 1200...
and I don't even want to think about how hard I choked on that one.

The DE got you into choking yourself?

Pretty much, but I didn't enjoy it.

No you just choke as all your beautifully painted Kabal Warriors (gay Klingons) get chewed up by massed heavy bolter fire, or by little girls offering them bags of sweets.

Little girls with sweets? That sounds like a scary thing. Can you trust them?

Definitely not, best thing to do is hand over all your money and hope that makes them go away. beautifully painted Kabal Warriors (gay Klingons) Heh, I guess you haven't seen my warriors... though I almost agree with y ou about the klingon part.

Of course I'd support you, Ymmot, I may be a marine but I try my best to respect most armies that aren't just the standard of each army I.E. UltraSMurfs and Cadians.....

Dude on the reaver's a bold move. I like it. I love bikes and jetbikes... you might know that already...
Looks like you're set-up to table a MEQ force that has a termie squad or the like.

SMurfs are my most likely opponent, and he does like his terminators...Necrons are on the rise though, it has been ages since I've had a go against Tau and Chaos.
Here is a much slimed down 500 point version I may get a game in with tonight.
Dracite reaver punisher tormentor helm
4 Reavers
5 warriors +blaster +raider
5 warriors +blaster +raider
Ravager x3 dark lance
total 500
The HQ on a jetbike idea came to me as I was touching up on my old Morathi on jetbike conversion...I have read somewhere that it is a particularly deadly combo in a DE list, all I had to do was convince myself to leave my incubi and pumped up Archon on foot at home.

Back when I started DE(before starting Imperial Guard) I pretty much only had the GW website to buy from. So I got my first battleforce and lo and behold, the GW website didn't have any of the HQ units available at that time. That's when I got the idea to go to the Warhammer fantasy section and have a look at the Dark Elves.
I picked up the Sorceress to use as my first HQ and then saw Morathi and knew I had to have her as well, figuring I'd use her as a succubus for my reaver squad. I hadn't even thought about putting my HQs onto jetbikes at that time. Now all my wyches are dark elves too, it is sort of a theme I stuck with, and I feel it adds a bit more diversity to my army. (Plus lots of scary alien chicks. Good times.)

I'd decided to use witch elves for wyches a while ago. Much, much better sculpts. I also plan on using black guard for incubi. Just because I can...
Interestingly enough, I was also thinking about cold ones as rough riders, with a bit of bit swapping...
