Hey all i know this is a silly question but is the Game Workshop paints safe to use? like is it toxic or does it give off fumes when using them like chemically or any thing i know about sprays an i dont use them if need some thing doing i get some one else to spray. I just wondered if so as i got loads cadiens to touch up and finish as i bought huge army mostly painted.

If you're talking about the regular citadel paints, then no, they are not toxic in any way. They're water thinned also, so they don't emit any kinds of fumes either. Totally safe to work with. I propably wouldn't go drinking them though...
Spray paints on the other hand have have all kinds of chemicals in them and they should not be use indoors. In a well ventilated area they should be safe to use.

You can drink the paint and in theory only make yourself sick. I doubt you'd die unless you drank 10+ and kept it down.
Spray paints are bad because both paint and the propellant are not good things to get in your lungs. At all. (See 'WARNING - Solvent abuse can kill INSTANTLY' sign. Don't worry though - just dont spray it up your nose)

Haha thanks guys ive no intention off drinking them and i dont use sprays, as yeah too toxic the fumes/vapours so if need too i get some else todo it for me. I caught an article on web about the yellow paint (for example) having high lead in it? I just wondered as got fin off my IG off as semi painted when i got them all and have load tanks still to do.

Most of us have worked with the stuff and we're all fine, I've gone through a dozen cans of the spray primer at least, usually outside but sometimes in an enclosed but well ventilated area, and I seem to have survived it.
