Try searching on "the tyranid hive" forum, that would be my best guess.

I just buzzed over to the Hive for you. I remembered asking about this, & this is what I was told. I don't think you understand. The two Death Leaper incarnations are entirely different. The first incarnation of Death Leaper appeared in 3rd Ed and was a particularly vicious Lictor introduced during the Canadian Rise of the Swarm campaign. It was originally encountered by a Space Marine named Brother Erasmus. The two fought and both were wounded, Brother Erasmus losing an eye and an arm. As a result of the damage sustained in this battle, Death Leaper's chitinous exoskeleton provides it with less protection than most Lictors, but Death Leaper's stealth is unsurpassed, and it is able to conceal itself in places where normal Lictors would be unable to hide.
Notably, whereas Old One Eye and The Red Terror were considered "Tyranid Monstrous Creatures" and could be fielded without the opponent's permission, 3ed Death Leaper was unique in that its online stats specifically referred to it as a "special character," and state that an opponent's permission must be sought in order to use it (as is the case with special characters of other races). However, this rule is now invalid, as you do not need permission to use special characters anymore. Death Leaper's rules featured the ability to hide in any part of the board, not just terrain, and an additional attack, along with a lower armour save to represent the flamer damage from Erasmus's combi-flamer. The model that was made to represent this Death Leaper was this:
Note the facial burn. It was made using the 3ed (then current) Lictor and Plastic Tyranid Warrior bits.
The 4ed Death Leaper was heavily involved in the summer 2006 campaign, Medusa V, introduced as an entirely new species of the Lictor genus, and its reclamation was the central objective for the Tyranid forces involved in the campaign. However, the 'aftermath' information states that only one of them survived the planet's fall, escaping in a captured human vessel. This Death Leaper relates to the Rise of the Swarm Death Leaper in name only, and acts simply as a "special edition" version of the lictor model. Games Workshop states it uses normal Lictor rules.
Another thing to note is that you can no longer use the 3ed Death Leaper's rule sets to represent 4ed Death Leaper because the rules were based off the 3ed Lictor rules, which had a totally different method of hiding. So the 3ed Death Leaper rules are completely obsolete now, even more so with the coming of 5ed. If you want to represent the 4ed Death Leaper with a rule set instead of normal Lictor rules as stated, your going to have to write them.Sorry Charlie.

Well since it seems that they'll be adding special character type creatures to the new dex then maybe they'll include Death Leaper in there.
