Alright all here is a vet squad I have been working on now for little over 2 weeks. So here is what I have accomplished so far. Any who these are at all various stages of completion, some are mostly done while others aren't quite there yet.... Vet. Sgt and a few others A shot of the majority of the guardsmen with shotguns. Take note I did a few variations and then couldn't decide so its a mix bag of shotguns Thats about it I'll have some more pics up soon...and better pics at that...First Time I've posted pics. Oh and the blanket rolls, gas mask case, and just about everything else none standard Cadian IG is off a Tamiya 1/48 scale German Infantry set.

Here is I hope some better pics. Not really close up's but ya'll get the hint. Since I'm house sitting for the next week there won't be much in the range of new pics. With all that in mind I have ordered some Catachan Lasgun bits and plan on converting those into my vet's shotguns to get a much more shotgunny look. That and it will help standardize my shotgun options through out the squad. The Highlighting is all complete after this pic was taken. The remaining blanket rolls were painted accordingly and all the other little things left were painted finally. Also I have hand painted the squad number of 1 in black with white outline, then the Wehrmacht crest (black, white, then red) in the center then the Company or Platoon number of 4 in black with white outline on the other side on the right shoulder pad. Now i'm not sure what to paint on the left shoulder pad. Should I maybe go with just a standalone regiment number or leave it blank? I'm just not sure. Also on my standard Infantry squads I have hand painted the squad number in red with a white outline. I like this better as it stands out more. Just not sure if I want my vets to have the same color designation numeral wise. I want these guys to kinda stand out on there own. What are y'alls thoughts?

Well I used this kinda as a guide There is alot of irregular shapes involved so when it became to cluttered I had to go back over with German Camo Beige. I was going to do the German Autumn oak leaf pattern but decided against it. I decided to use the Vallajo Early war German Paint set. Oh and here is another guide that helped aswell. www.artizandesigns.com/guides/GermanArmyColours.pdfI use this artizandesigns website regularly for just about everything I have painted and they haven't let me down yet.

I see something going on with the interior of the chimera...
Also, what do you plan to do about the holes up top?

Well I have been tempted to finish the interior but for right now the floor is the only thing done. I had initially planned on using the chimera for my HQ. I used the rear wooden truck bed of a old 1/35 scale opel blitz truck. Then I was going to use the dashboard from the same model as a Communications platform with some extra stuff added to it. It's all complete I just haven't glued it in place. The chimera is not completely glued down yet anyways so If I wanted too i could finish the interior. It's just a matter of motivation at this point to finish it.
Also I do plan on using the fire ports with the lasguns that come with the model. I just wanted to get everything done on the outside of the Chimera prior to me adding in the Las guns in the fire ports. I have also ordered decals from Company B a 28mm World war 2 resin company to complete the model.

Very nice camouflage! I know the turrets off a Smurf vehicle but where did that smoke launcher come from?

the smoke launchers are off the land raider kit. I prefer them over any of the smoke launchers hands down.

Hey thanks...here are a few other pics of one of my Platoon Leaders his vox operator and the last two veterans that need to be completed. Here are two pics of the complete PCS Okay so here is the latest pic of my vets. This was my first attempt at hand painted numerals on the shoulder pad and included a divisional symbol for grins.
