Klivian found Rosh and saluted smartly, "Sorry sir got a little carried away, killed a fair few of the bluies and clipped a battlesuit don't know if i killed it though, not sure if it was Stormsurge either, also i knocked out that AA tower meaning if we want we can call in the navy to do a little housekeeping."

"We all here? Gah, what's left of us."
"Anyhow, here's-"
Before Rosh could finish, a massive cry came from a bunch of soldiers. Make the conscripts. These men had no insignia, and a commissar stood at their front.
With a cry, the entire mob rushed forwards, straight towards the waiting battlesuits.
Stormsurge being at the head.
"Damn it, a massed charge. It'll save you men from doing a distraction though. Anyhow, cover these conscripts, down as many battlesuits as you can, and Kellet will not try, she WILL shoot that bastard Stormsurge in the head."
It could be seen though that that would be quite the feat. Stormsurge was already weaving into the massed horde of conscripts, butchering those that were unlucky enough to be in the way of the marauding suit.

Klivian opened up on full auto raking the entire battle suit line with hellgun fire, focusing his aim on the jet units the suits used to remain airborne.

*Switches to wavelength used by Imperial ground command elements*

Maxis roared as he drew his combat knife and pistol, "For Ferrus Manus! For the glory of the Iron Templar!", and let rip a trio of shots. The first two veered off wildly but the last found a home, drilling into the chest plate of a unnamed spilling it's volitile concoction of acids into the delicate mechinery. The Battlesuit move wildly as it jetted towards Maxis. It raised it's hand and sent the armoured fist into Maxis's armoured gut. A world of pain blossomed his mind as he felt himself throw up in his helmet. As he ripped off his helmet, a single thought propelling itself through his mind like a bolt shell, a picture of his wife standing next to him posing in his armour. That picture alone screamed one thing in his mind, the will and determination to survive. He clutched his knife and brought it ripping into one of the Battlesuit's joints but not befor the battlesuit managed another futile attack, A punch on the left shoulder which left the shoulder pad buckling. Maxis then found the previous wound from his pistol and shoved the barrel against it and fired. And fired. And fired. Within a second he realized that both the clip was empty and the Battlesuit was dead. He holstered the knife and pistol and drew his grenade launcher and began to fire a trio of frag grenades at the mob as his world slowly faded into black.

((Strange, I could've sworn I posted a few days ago...))
"KT-154 calling Unidentified Aircraft, identify yourself. Information will be transmitted after identification is provided, KT-154 out"
Well, thought Rosh, with some CAS, he'd be able to knock out some of the Tau battlesuits that were outranging the Imperials. Of course, he'd have to follow procedure, lest he give intel to a human traitor to the Tau....
Kellet breathed in, then breathed out.
Wait for it......
She could see Stormsurge rush a commissar, who stood his ground. Aiming for the spot directly in front of the commissar, she breathed out, held it, and fired....
Stormsurge rushed forwards, to meet the Gue'la commissar, a slight pride rising in her as her soldiers were rallying, ripping apart the Gue'la as they landed, and even starting to do a number on the Astartes.
As she raised her plasma cannon, she saw a bullet rip straight through it. Before she could curse, the plasma cannon detonated, blowing apart her suit.
Her last sight was a Gue'la commissar leveling his bolt pistol at her.
"This is Kellet. Stormsurge is down."
"Copy, everyone! Follow me, back to the Valk!"
Without being needed to be told twice, the survivors of KT-154 started to retreat back to the Valkyrie. Not long now....
((Gaunt, no, you haven't been sidelined, PM inbound))

Maxis woke up violently and struggled to his feet. He picked up his vomit soaked helmet and ran as fast as he could towards his new sergeant and the Valk. 'How embarassing.' he thought as he reached the commander. He wiped off most the vomit and proceeded to give the two men his best salute. One of the two he'd IDed as Rosh, who appeared to be the commander. "Sirs. I am your's to dispose. May both Ferrus Manus and the Emporer guide your bullets and lasers."

Levin had managed to stabilise Jackson's condition, and with Klivian's help, managed to drag him into the back of the valkyrie. He hoped that he wouldn't come to for another hour or so - better to wake once Levin had wired up some cybernetics than see himself in this condition. Confident his squadmate would survive, Levin crouched in the doorway and covered their retreat.

*Flips Radio transmitter to the designated operational band*
Kilo Tango one-five-four this is Kilo Two-Niner. Our Operational Callsign is Eagle. The Word is Irene. Over.
*he waited for a response to the operation's evaccuation phrase. He just hoped he was talking to the right person.*

The stubber was running low. Alexei had little time to make it to the valkyrie and he was also under some fire. He swapped belts and picked up the large weapon and let a hail of fire cut into a few remaining firewarriors. Having finished that he started running back towards the LZ, and he was only slightly behind the others.

OOC: Don't say what my character is doing, if he was going to carry jackson he'd carry jackson.
Klivian decided to drop jackson as such a sentimentalist act didn't befit his skills and moved to the rearguard position. "Bluies incoming hard looks like they're mad"

((Let's just say it was Kellet))
Rosh gave a small snort.
"Fine, come with us on the Valk. I'll Adley show you to your commander while I debrief the unit."
Turning, he paused a little, and his brow furrowed a little.
A Tau force had set up a farewell party. As he wondered how to deal with the problem, he heard the reply transmission. Good.
"Eagle, requesting fire support mission at grid Echo Beta 13, target is Tau armor and infantry, fire for effect, over."
Smiling, Rosh waited for the fireworks to begin.
((Sorry, I have no idea how to call in airstrikes, and only a slight idea how to call in artillery.))

Lance frowned deeply "as far as I can tell, sir.....I'm the last surviving member of the force. we were hit from orbit. not even half of us made the drop and where we landed...." Lance shuddered and his voice became a whisper "It was a massacre." Lance shook his head suddenly his voice back"So... sirs, please allow me to join up with you. For the honour of my fallen comrades."

Damn didn't this infantry commander know anything! he thought to himself as he banked the aircraft sharply to port.
Please say again Kilo Tango One-Five-Four over. Thats a negative until you can give me a clear bearing with at least a 300m run to target. over.
OOC: Right to call in an airstrike you're going to have to give me either an open killbox (an area where everything is a target to be fired upon) or a precision target (what you want here). To call in the former give me a gridsquare eg: (44,32) and declare it as "killbox one alpha" (meaning the first one you have designated. Then call me in with either rockets or ordinance.
So to call in Ordinance on a large area you would say: Eagle one this is Kilo Tango one-five-four. requesting open killbox for run with ordinance. Killbox designation one alpha at gridsquare (44,32). You are cleared hot for run on bearing 44 degrees. over.
To call down a precision strike you would say something like:
Eagle one this is KT154. Requesting precision run with ordinance between points (652,654) and (652,668). You are cleared hot for ground support. over.
If you or other friendlies are close just say "be advised friendlies are in the area at point" eg: (665,462).
Hope that helps!

Good thinking trooper, Elysian eh? Utmost respect for you guys, I've seen what you lot can do when you're dropped in the right place.
And yes I can take the signal. Shunt it to me on Vox Frequency 12 and provide mewith a safe approach bearing. over.

Okay I gotcha. Targets are hard skinned switching to high explosives. Enjoy the fireworks down there.
At the Hand of the Emperor's various stations intercoms buzzed: "Prepare for ground fire we're goin in low and fast."
Seconds after his broadcast to the crew Tseikor paused to check his seat rig, as he knew the rest of his crew would be doing, then after a deep breath and clenching his thighs tight to ward off the effects of excess G forces. He rolled the massive aircraft in a sharp turn onto the target pushing its airframe to the very limits.
Slamming forward on the throttle levers the four massive armoured armageddon pattern Vector III Ramjets surged with power. Accellerating to combat speed he thumbed the firing stud's safety cap. There they were, the filthy bluies, in their oh so advanced vehicles. He would soon see to those. Lining up on a formation of hammerhead Gunships tseikor pressed the firing stud and unleashed the six linked autocannons in the Hand's nose. The recoil sent judders throughout the whole aircraft, but he knew her well and deftly compensated as the first of the Xeno vehicles seemed to buckle and then burst under the furious impacts.
Meanwhile the Hand's bombardier, Carl Hagen: a surly and often crass man but no less talented in his art, loosed the first two of the massive hellstrike missiles mounted under the Destroyer's wings. Their smoke trails coiled lazily away from the aircraft and with two mighty blasts four Devilfish troop transoprts along with nearby tau infantry simply evaportaed into plumes of smoke and fire.
Tseikor Pressed his intercom switch, not taking his eyes from the enemy he was so ruthlesly pummelling, "Nice shooting Carl drinks are on me tonight."
Carl wasn't listening. By now they had begun to pass over their target area and he had swung himself out of the station that gave him the forward Ordinance gunsights and into the pod slung just afore of the Destroyer's bomb bay. He saw the enemy flashing by under him and opened the bomb doors with a flick of a switch. This was it. He dropped the entire payload, all 80,000 lbs of high explosive and fragmentation ordinance, over a period of ten seconds. The bombs drizzled out from the armoured machine's belly and slammed into the Tau line. Of about a 500meter stretch all that was left was a crater filled wasteland strewn with broken bodies and wrecked or burning vehicles.
As the bomber quickly lightened it jolted skywards visciously but Tseikor controlled this violent motion and climbed rapidly out of range of the remaining Tau's weaponry.
Well done boys, but I fear the jobs not quite done yet...

Lance unrapped the scarf and stared at the golden locket his wife had sewn into it. "Was it all in vain, Miko?" He spoke out loud to her many times. She never answered. She couldn't. She was mute. but she was very kind. He shook his head. No, he chose to get into this hellhole and by the Primarchs he would or die fighting like the soldier he gave up 20 years of his life to become! He began polishing the inside of his helmet and pulled out a small bottle of red paint he began brushing over where the red parts of the cross were chipped. His carapace armour battered and bent dully glinting in the light. This was his conviction. As uncaring as the very metals that made up his arm and leg. He stood up and speaking to himself he muttered "For Ferrus Manus I kill. For the Emporer I die. For the Iron Templar I live."

Adley stood, stretched, and yawned.
"All clear from here, Valk's just past the barricade. Rosh, you want to do the honors?"
Rosh stood, and as the group moved, he removed a set of papers. Flipping through them, he choose three, hesistated, then tossed two of them into a nearby burning fire. As they burned, the names "Slyati" and "Derrick" were visible.
Handing them out to each person, he started speaking, sounding as if he had done this a hundred times.
"By the authority vested in me by other powers, you are hearby granted immediate release from the Imperial Guard. Your regimental commanders have been notified. If you so wish to return to your regiments, and continue your service, return your papers to me, and I shall see you returned to your regiment.
As per regulations, you shall each sign on the area provided, along with the location of your intended retirement, along with information on how to find and contact you, although this is purely for informational records, you will not be called to serve in the Guard again.
Congratulations, you've survived Kill Team 154."

Rosh nodded.
"If you want, you can stay with this unit also if you choose. Although that usually means death in the first few missions. To date, no one has made it past their fourth...
Also, Corporal Kellet, a word when we get back to the ship."
The Valkyrie was now in sight, and Adley climbed into the cockpit, starting the checks on the Valk.
"Every thing looks good...Hah, blue bast*rds didn't even find this baby."
