A staffer at my local GWS has said that there will definitely be a combined codex for Witch Hunters, Daemonhunters and Inquisitors We've been hearing for a good while that Grey Knights are coming soon with zero word of adding Battle Sisters into the mix.

Think about it though... GW likes to spread rumors that are lies, and they don't always make the best decisions. Anything is possible.

Sisters of Battle and Grey Knights as two books by themselves, Inquisitor units sprinkled around for fun, no more allies rule.
That's what I'm hoping for.

You're hoping for no more allies? Madness!

Every time I see a lone inquisitor hanging around with a bunch of mystics I feel a little part of my insides wither up and die.
Removed is best I think.
Though adding units like an inducted Imperial Guard platoon into the codexes themselves would be pretty neat...we all can dream.

They'll have to do that, or I'm selling my sisters.

If they do add in non-Sisters units, it should be Frateris Militia.

Mn, another couple rumors, from Heresy Online. Basically the order of releases is currently planned like this:
Dark Eldar, Grey Knights, Necrons, Sisters of Battle.
Second rumor is more confirmation of an Inquisition / Allies supplement, possibly possibly mimicking the Dogs of War .

Could be good or bad, never can tell.
Though it's nice to see Space Zombies getting some love, they're really in need of it.

Yikes, fast moving necrons would be bad... (They already have destroyers I guess...)
Named Necron Lords! like the ones in the Apocalypse book....
and more devilishly fiendish creations of the necrontyr that have yet to awaken!
I'm pretty sure that thus far the imperium has only seen the top of the pyramid when it comes to the true scale of the necron menace.

The Necrons as a race are older than anything else in the 40k universe.
Which means I agree with Ymmot, there's likely to be a lot of new things they could add, claiming they were recently awakened to deal with certain types of tech currently available to those they harvest.

Fast-moving mini-lith that still has AV14 all around, and generates scarabs like the tervigon does for gaunts.

Besides, they could also just claim that we just hadn't heard of it being used yet.

Particle whips are now assault weapons, and warriors can trade up to them for five points each.

Melissia - is that right (at least as far as we can tell)? Dark Eldar will be next? ... But... but... I see your point regarding the mystic carrying lone Inquisitor, but what about people (like me) who have a (I hope) fluffy Inquisitor? Think of the Inquisitors! Won't somebody please think of the Inquisitors? And that was my 6000th post. I choose not to believe you
