First off, apologies if I put this in the wrong place, I saw other requests and I was hoping I could get some help.
I recently got my assault terminators for my Salamanders army, got me some GS, assembled my terminators and now I want to put some GS on them and drakeify them. Well long story short I managed to blunder through some capes and bits of flesh hanging off the armor, but I can't quite find a way to make good scales on the cape and other GS'ed bits.
Bear in mind I'm pretty much a complete noob with GS so you might have to explain things slowly.
Thanks!

Take a flat piece, and poke it. Just keep doing the trial and error until you get something you like. You also might try the dark elf black ark corsair capes.

I tell ya, my greenstuff must be broken, so I found this one guide for making scales online, pretty much just a bunch of slightly pressed down spheres. So I made a decent cape, and started to press spheres into it, sadly they won't stick, it doesn't matter if I give it five minutes or five hours they just fall right off if I even think about them too hard.
All this stuff I read about it being really sticky and it won't even stick to itself!

I'm pretty sure that you need more of the green parts. The greenish yellow stuff is what makes it stick. And remember, use water on your tools so it doesn't stick to your tools.
