Greetings, I have something to share with the board. A while back on the Dave Taylor miniatures blog (http://davetaylorminiatures.blogspot.com/) he posted a ork trukk to imperial truck conversion and was kind enough to provide templates for the cab conversion. Having wanted to do just such a conversion for a while, this saved me a lot of work. For christmas I got one of the new ork halftrack conversions and I went wild... Here is the result. It is done up in the stylings of mw WWI inspired army that has been in progress for far too long. But it IS progressing!

For that all I would have to do is lay an unused missile launcher on top of the cab and the heavy bolter gunner would just reach over and grab it if (when) it was needed.

Looks a little bit like an oversized cal.50 Maxxon turret used on the halftruck in wwII. I like the combination between the sentinel and the AC´s..nice idea..good work Greets Watts

Yes very very good job,I like the use of the sentinel,Reminiscent of the old M3 quad .50cal anti aircraft gun of WWII. I was looking for an idea for a hydra, thanks I'll be borrowing this one, with your permission of course. ;D

I am glad that you all approve! Yeah, my inspiration was taken from the quad guns from the WWII vehicles. I saw the Aegis Defense Line and thought to myself that they would look good on a sentinel hull for that purpose... And so I went for it. @ jerbat123, feel free to use the idea... Immitation is the best form of flattery! Between the extensive conversions like that, working a full time job, commission work, and the fact that I do not have regualr access to a camera is why I have not been posting as often as I would like.

It's really cool but the sentinel body looks a bit to small.

Brilliant use of the sentinel cab for the autocannon mount - looks really effective. I'm now tempted to do something along these lines but using the Chimera as the tank body...
