[[ Yo Guys. I've Been Contimplating Doing An All Conscript Army For About A Year Now, But Now I Have An Opportunity To Finally Do It, As I Wrapped My Tau Off. So Before I Put Down Any Green I Was Wondering:
Whether Or Not Their An Effective Army On Average? If Theres Anything I Should Know About Them? [Significant Drawbacks Etc.] Should I Incorporate Tanks? How Much Would A 1500p Army Cost Me In Average? Are They Worth Doing?
Thanks For Reading And Any/All Replys. +This Is My First Ever Post On This Forum... So If Im Doing Or Have Done Anything Wrong, Keep That In Mind.
Later =] . ]]

You cant do an all conscript Army
Only Platoons
So you plan to have
One Commandy HQ And then 2 Conscript Platoons?

[Well Yeah, The Idea Would Be That The Majority Of The Army Would Be Conscript Platoons! With The Command Hq Thing, And Maybe Some Tanks...]

Right, If your gonna take All Conscripts for your Infatry Choices, I recommend the Following in your army aswell
Doctrines: Conscript Platoons Indepndat Commissars
5 Commissars assigned to each Conscript Platoon If you run out of Commissars Then Priest but take no Heavy Weapons with Preists.
2 Fire Support Squads: 3 Heavy Bolters 3 Autocannons
2 Anti-Tank Support Squad: 3 LAscannons 3 Missile Launchers
1 Special Weapon Squad 3 Sniper Rifles
1 Harded Vet Squad 1 Ogryn Squad 1 Storm Trooper Squad
1 Hellhound 2 Sential Squads: 6 Sentinels
3 Leman Russ Battle Tanks.
If you want me to Draft you a Sample Army list, I can.

Slight Snag
"You may inculude up to one conscript platoon for each infantry platoon in your army"
I recommend making them basic guardsmen squads
For Example
Alpha Platoon - Squad Alpha Alpha Sergeant - Close Combat Weapon and Laspistol 9 Guardsmen - [Heavy Weapon] - [Special Weapon] - Voxcaster
And thats it, for each squad. all the way down.
Have 2 Basic Infantry Platoons, 2 Conscript Platoons and One Armoured Fist Squad

[Ite! I Dont Own A Codex, But I Was Leafin Through One At My Gw Abit Ago. So I Think That We Could Jus Have An Infatary Platoon With 2 Squads, Then A Conscript Platoon With... 4 Or 5 [] Then We Basically Repeat That Yeah?
So It's Like A Ratio
2 Infantary Squads:4 Conscript Squads
It Could Work Like That Yeah?]

Well, for Each Infantry Platoon, you still need a Platoon Command, So it would be
1 Platoon Command and 2 Infantry Squads - 25 Men 5 Conscript Squads = One Conscript Platoon - 50 men + Assigned Commissar

The Leman russ are set up for Infantry Support, and the Sentinels are the same, I will also posts this in the Army list section with but ill fill out the Officer Weapons in there.

It was just a rough list, if you decided to drop the Hellhound, Take another 3 Sentinals. and if you drop the Ogryns, take out the Doctrine for them, and take a Doctrine you want.

lol, and hip hop man WHAT IS IT WIF THE [ ] IN YOUR SENTANCES! lol
but i would just like to point out that maybe you should buy the codex before you start deciding what type of army you want, thats what i did wrong lol.
but i think this would be a pretty good idea, it would be a funny sight seeing like hundreds of guardsmen on the table, deployment would take about 3 hours alone lol, but this could end up being quite expensive buying heaps of ig so maybe consider ebay or something.

not keen on hell hounds ? they are so much better than they used to be.They can survive hits now that would have crippled or destroyed one in he previous incarnation. The weapon is so much better now than it was; 24 inches with the template included, and it ignores cover saves...whats NOT to love about this wonderful tank ?
