alright, as promised, i have some more photos. amazing what a Sundays hard work can do. firstly, this is a shot of the magazine i use for the bolt pistol, alongside a regular unconverted g36 mag. both once looked the same as the one on the left. next is the aquilla.. not happy about the photo, its really blurry sorry :/ ive also added nylon screw heads to the outer casing of the pistol. incase anyone cares i got the screws for about 50c in one of the big Lowes hardware stores, the packet looks like this, and you get two of them in there. just clip the heads off and they are good to use. ive added both an ejection port and cocking handle to the right hand side of the casing, i've even carved crosshatching across the handle of the bolt slide. the tubular shaped ejection port was a pain since i glued the casing on already, had to cut a hole into the case, and drop it in. lots of scoring V shaped groves around the casing as well. once again, i'm sorry the pics are so fuzzy, i'm gonna take some from further away next time and crop them or something. hand sawed off the remains of the front of the original barrel, in prep for the bigger bore barrel i have planned. (a friend has a powerdrill with some kind of cutting circular head that will bore a hole through my barrel, so i didnt have it to take any photos of) also added a sight friends told me it looks flimsy round the bottom of the magazine guard, so i made it appear to be thicker with alittle bit of plastic card, along with covering the back section of the guard with another piece of plastic card. (beforehand it was only a three side guard, as i wasnt sure how the magazine release switch would work if i put plastic in the way of it) slightly better detail shot of the entire thing from the lefthand side, i plan to add more screw heads around a few areas, a purity seal, and glue the barrel on. along with adding a large oval base on the grip of the gun. also showing how wide the barrel will be when you look down it (the black circular thingy) and the right side as well. ive cut a rough barrel for example purposes, to show what it may look like when finished, but truth be told the barrel is alittle longer than the one i have precut. all of this ive done with a pair of clippers, sand paper of varying grades, a modeling scalpel and a handsaw...

unless i find a way to dye the olive green into black, it will be a green coat, but i do plan to have red lining, along with the cuffs and collar of the coat being red. just made a mold out of green stuff for some awesome skull buttons. the outer work of the gun is allmost done, i just need to add a few more screws and its all set. then i spray paint it. the large pommel like thing ive added on the grip of the pistol makes it look alot more badass in my hands, working on a purity seal as well for it. also added a small frame thing under the barrel, a flat plate like is on some designs of bolt pistols. like this one for example.

i wonder to myself why this is in the conversions forum .. but meh. okay so heres what ive been upto since last time. finished the bodywork, added more screws and spray painted it, also added the barrel and the 'plate' underneath the barrel. clearly taking detailed pictures isnt my forte, but heres an attempt at a close up upon my purity seal work. and some of the work thus far on my commissar jacket. the green stuff on the buttons obviously need painting, and i plan to get a friend of mine to add some cool gothic script on my purity seal paper. several litanies i plan to use upon my seals are: 31002 Blessed is the mind too small for doubt. 31012 An open mind is like a fortress with its gates unbarred and unguarded. 31022 Zeal is its own excuse. 31026 Zeal is no excuse. 31064 Be strong in your ignorance. 31066 A broad mind lacks focus.i'm worried that other than skull buttons and purity seals, my jacket will look rather empty, i plan to add red lining, as well as red borders around the jacket and large red cuffs but do you think that will be enougth?

what about those weird things on the shoulders, if you can, make a chainsword/ power sword/ or power fist, all commies gotta have them. have a suit of carapace armour (make it from one of those cheap, plastic kiddy knight costumes that you can get from most theme park gift shops), just add an imperial auquilla.

the barrel is around about 10 X the diameter of the bolt rounds, but does it really matter? GARAIT JOB!

for a power fist, possibly, if you're getting the knight suit for your carapace, (if it comes with them) use the gauntlets and stick lick plasticard on them or something...

Looking good. For a power fist, go to www.armourarchive.org and use the pattern for finger gauntlets. Make them out of plastic and put them on a hockey glove. -Link
