Ello, I finaly got round to building a pair of anti aircraft guns for my orks, though the process might be viable for hydra / AA emplacements if tidied up a little. the main items in the construction were: card (not plasti card, but probably would be better), wire mesh for fixing car body work (if you cut really thin strips it makes great razor wire), cotton buds on sticks (for make up removal / ear cleaning), plate spinning sticks (from broken old circus toys, though old pens might well work), and 2 ork trukks for the chassis and odd decorative bits... oh, and a milk bottle top. the ammo hoppers were made from the cotton bud sticks with the card built to fit around them. the rest is all fairly self explanatory.

That is a wonderfully Orky bit of anti-air killery. Hats off to you sir.

I'm assuming you haven't finished painting them But GOD they look AMAZING
EDIT: What I mean is the hoppers look un-painted, as I noticed other bits of the gun appear to be painted

Thank you for you comments!... much appreciated!
RE: beav... I'm a little confused by your post, the first and last picture show the models as they are to be fielded (though I have put the crew in there now).. and at some point I will add more detail to glyphs and stuff...
The middle two pictures are of the model prior to any paint at all.. the white colour is the natural card colour while the blue is the colour of the plastic sticks from the cotton buds.
I haven't the steadiest hands for taking photo's (or painting minis for that matter) so please excuse the camera shake in the images!.. (better lighting helps cure this so maybe I will take some new photo's..)
PS.. beav, I think you Lictorian 21st are doing well to be getting so much action.. 8 games in 6 days!.. I don't think I've had 8 games in 6 months!!
