I will eventually do my entire guard/mechanicus army, but to start off with, I'm doing my Tech lord and retinue. Here goes, I've done a break down of the cost so that it's easier to get a good points cost;
Tech lord (100p)
Equipment;
Staff of the Omnhisaar (35p)
Counts as a power fist except for against vehicles it rolls 2D6 for penetration and has a +1 modifier on damage
Excuisite Pistol (20p)
Counts as a Master crafted bolt pistol and Melta
Blessing of the Omnissiah (5p)
The Tech Lord may attempt to fix any vehicle in base contact in the shooting phase on a roll of a 4+, +1 for each additional servitors or Tech priests with servo arms. If passed, the vehicle may remove it's immobilised status or replace a destroyed weapon result, the controlling players choice.
May take a retinue of upto;
10 servitors; +15 each
5 techguard; +60 each
5 tech preists; +45 each
But the unit (including tech lord) must not exceed 15 models.
Any number of servitors may replace their sevo arm with a Heavy bolter for 15 each, plasma cannon or Multimelta for 25 each

Power weapon, Melta bombs, frag and krak grenades
Special rules
Sworn protectors
The Tech guard have the counter attack universal special rule as well as 'look out...aaargh!' as detailed in Imperial Guard Codex.
