is it worth buying for £20 (including p&p) or would it be better if i found some old lazcannons and modified it myself?
i have a new boxes valkyrie ready to be built (last of my cristmas stuff) i was going to kit it out with the standard single lazcannon and hunter killer missiles as a fast attack tank hunter in larger games. i already have one with the multi missiles, multilazer and heavy bolter gunners as a troop carrier and anti infantry unit.
or alternatly should i use them both as drop ships and buy a vanquisher with the £20 for anti tank? lol

Buy magnets and do both for versatility. But definitely DIY forgeworld is good for some things but this isn't one of them.

I've done two by myself, one with Heavy Weapon Lascannons trimmed and glued together and the other one with Stormraven Lascannons glued together.
They both look fine, but I'm still going to get the kit for my next Vendetta......

I bought the kit and the wing mounts ARE heavy weapon squad lascannons trimmed and glued together!
I then used the lascannons which come with the valkyrie and fitted one on either side the cockpit becuase the tweinlinked FW lascannons are considerably smaller in size and looked weird next to the wing mounts.

i may just build it with the standard parts this time, i have loads of heavy firepower at my disposal. may get another or a forge world fighter in the distant future.
