I really like the rules for Al'Rahem and think that they would work so well with a fluffy catachan list (having jungle fighters out flank as if they were hiding in the trees around your enemy wait to strike.). My idea was just to get a regular catachan model, give him a power sword or axe, and plasma pistol as is his codex load out. Then green stuff him a cloak like robe, like in the drawing of him the the codex. And also green stuff, or convert for space marines, the shoulder pads he has in the codex picture. I am rather new to the idea of converting so any tip, tricks and ideas are welcome. I will post pictures of progress and hopefully a completed model once I get started on it.

A capt's head should be special, even more so a special character capt., take a look at mad robot's personality heads, i think the stallone head would fit well as your capt. commissar.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=Painting&action=display&thread=16359&page=9I'm not a fan of the robe/cloak on a catachan unless he's a sniper. For the pads: take a look at trooper 1974's vet unit with cadian pads and catachan arms, looks quite good.

I built one of these a while back for a game Reds and I played in where we were teamed up and each outflanked one of our blob platoons against our opponents. It was epic. I called mine "Captain Ragman" IIRC. I converted him out of one of the metal officers by adding a power sword and plasma pistol to him, along with a full bandana covering his head. Not sure if I have a photo of him yet. I'll go look, and if I've got one I'll post it. If I don't I will take one at some point and post it.
