Two Questions (if you are unfamilar with them they are in Imperial Armor Second Addition pg 206)
They have the immobile rule, so once they are deployed they stay put. The question is are they turrets and do they have 360 aiming? It seems logical. As the model is designed that way.
They next question. It says 1-3 platforms in a unit with a guardsman on each. Is there any rule stopping me from taking 3 and counting them as three different units? According to the rules they are just part of an infantry platoon and do not take a FOC slot. So the only benefit to having them bunched up with for fire on my target orders, hence the question.

They're Artillery, and are not subject to the Vehicle rules for Fire Arcs. They can fire in a 360 degree arc, just like any other non-Vehicle Unit.
And yes, you can take three separate Units of a single platform, each taking up one of your 5 possible Heavy Weapons Squad slots for that Platoon. If you want more than 5 per Platoon you have, or you also want to take Heavy Weapons Squads, you'll have to start bunching them up.

Cool, thanks! I got three of them I am going to be a total douche to my buddy, who is using three space marine air defense missiles to kill my birds.

I use these to great effect, don't bunch/squadron them or they loose effectiveness.
I actually run these over a vendetta now, much more flexible than one ven
also remember two things - 1/ they have scout! 2/ they are scoring units!

You run them over a vendetta Dangerrod? Great Emperor above these are some game changing tactics... now that you have peaked my interest in employing these within my ranks, which would you advice me purchasing? The heavy stubber? What is the search light good for?

Autocannon and Lascannon are the kit-outs worth using here.
Which is kind of unfortunate, because the Quad Stubbers look really cool, but they just don't do the job you need these for.

They DO look pretty cool! If I was going to get a laz cannon from forgeworld, I think I'd rather just get the rapier. Idk if that's another one of those models that just looks cool though...

What is the search light good for? The Searchlight is great for night fighting, not much else really Well, as I mentioned, the fact that they have inteceptor and skyfire is just amazing. Plus they start on the board (unlike the poor Vendetta) which means you will have the use of the twin linked a/cannon or twin linked lascannon from turn one! If I was you I would run the twin linked lascannon, the autocannons are good, but I prefer to run them in my blob squad now

And why is this your preference? Are lascannon's any good against 'nids? For that matter are the quad stubber's good against 'nids? I don't mean to be obnoxious with questioning your style. Just a noob asking questions. Nothing personal.
