Astra Militarum w/ Militarum Tempestus Allies, 1500 Points
Alright you guys, this is a weird one. I have no idea if this would actually work, but I want your opinions. Tactical considerations to follow...

Thar she blows. The idea with this list is pretty simple. I wanted to include LOTS of Dakka with highly specific firing niches, and I wanted everybody on the ground at BS4. In total, we ended up with 6 Autocannons, 6 Twin-Linked Lascannons, 2 Twin-Linked Punisher Cannons, and 8 Meltaguns, and the cumulative weight of lasguns and hot-shot lasguns. Those firing niches couldn't really get more clear, and each kind of weapon has at least one redundant/repeated unit.
As far as buffs go, we've got two Company Command Squads for orders on the Veterans, and everybody has voxes to make sure we get those orders out. The Scion Command Squad has Tempestus-specific orders to issue to his boys that drop in the back-field with him when popping tanks or MEQ-hunting. The Scion Squads count as scoring. The Primaris Psyker hands out Divination. Two Master of the Fleet requires the enemy to roll really well, and allows me to roll really poorly, to get reserves in.
As far as mobility goes, we can ferry around the Company Command Squads and Scion Squads with the Vendettas, and the Scions all Deepstrike (and remember, the Scion Squads are scoring). The slowest units are the Veterans, who do a lot of sitting and shooting with their 48" Autocannons anyway and camp on home objectives.
My fears are these: I worry that the Dakka is too fragile. AV12 flyers drop fast, even if there are four of them. Scions are still only 4+, and Veterans are still 5+. Cover only helps so much, especially without an Aegis or Camo-Cloaks. My other worry is that I'm not mobile enough, and/or not numerous enough to get to and hold objectives. It seems other Codices can take more men and more Dakka in the current meta at this point level.
This list is really quite theoretical, but I might try to pull together enough proxies to play-test it if it piques enough interest. As ever, feedback is totally welcome.
