Just wow on this thing. I can see taking three of these things now. Turn 2 you need a 3+ to fire a str10 ap1 apocalypse blast that ignores cover. And with the barrage rules min range doesnt really matter with such a big blast. Because even with scattering the thing will probably still hit its target. Turn 2 has a possibility of leaving your opponent with almost nothing if all three go off.

Plus with the whole "you can't actually destroy the missile, only delay its launch with weapon 'destroyed results' thing" it seems guaranteed to get shot off and go boom at some point, unless your opponent manages to destroy the Chimera launch vehicle itself...

Yes im deffently thinking of either 3 or 2 and a manticore seems alittle overpowered

Yes im deffently thinking of either 3 or 2 and a manticore seems alittle overpowered In the Imperial Guard, there is no such thing as "overpowered." Sufficient to dispatch the enemy with extreme prejudice, but never overpowered.
