So having barely played 8th and not having touched 9th yet, does anyone have any opinions on where Inquisitors and their retinues stand gameplay wise? I am getting close to a finished DW army now (with some guard to bring in as support but that is a fledgling force) and my girlfriend is working on her first sisters unit and both of us want to include a token Inquisitor into our forces, probably more as a hobby and lore thing than game play but I honestly know nothing about how they operate now a days.

A bit late to the party as I haven't been cecking the forum lately. Have you found a good use for an inquisitor yet?
I've been thinking about getting one myself because I might do a crusade(?) force based around an inquisitor. They seem pretty useful as utility characters to get back CP, but not particularly inspiring on the tabletop.

Haha oh thats the plan tread. I have always been way more of a fluffy modeler than a gamer and inquisitors and their retinue offer a lot of opportunity for that. Just trying to see if they are even viable on that tabletop whatsoever or it they have become too niche. The real problem now is settling on a base model to use. My bits box is so lacking since the move that I really only have a few guard and deathwatch bits to pull from so Im having to be very selective
