As promised (though much delayed), here's some updates on the latest projects and games: Tau vs Nids (big bots vs big bugs) Wraith Eldar List (finally getting round to it.. converting each for a more active ghostwalk) Tau vs White Templar - taking turns to blast into the face of the foe! Tau vs Blood Angels (featuring my first outing with a flame tank... which I need to learn to be more proactive with, and an amusing scenario where the chaplain forgot the key to his book of litanies, resulting in it charging the ghostkeel while the reivers looked on) Tau vs Guard - these are from 2 identical game set ups, with a win on each side in the end! Tau vs Orks including the fearsome Yvarhna chassis My partners fresh grot tanks and her tidy ork boys (soon to be replaced with more grots!) My take on a MekBoy Workshop Some shots from an Ork vs Ork vs Ork game, with my Partner, My Lad and Myself creating mayhem... The jubilant grots steamrolled the game, despite being the only side without deffrolla's! My Nurgle Knight (which was the red heap in the Tau vs Guard battle) prior to being given its final coat, (I'm tring out using drawing gum to create rust effect, quite scared of the next step!) the gun on the left shoulder is currently unglued, so does look better when positioned correctly.

Looks like some epic gaming in the tread household!
My personal favourites have to be the running Wraithblade and the Primaris Chaplain on bike!
Hopefully we won’t have to wait too long before we get another update!!

Thanks guys,
Currently also working on a bike gang (outrider style bikes) to accompany the chaplain, all with reiver heads, possibly in death company black as a proxy for jump pack marines of the choppy variety.
And there's about 10 wraithguard and 2 wraithlords done so far, next up on cool poses is sniper-lord and stealthing ninja pose... and then I finally get to do the forgeworld skathach wraithknight I've been saving for about 5 years.. or 6, maybe 7? (And to make them sort of codex legal ish, there's a couple tiny squads of corsiars made from harelquins, though given 8th did away with the corsairs list, and massivly nerfed -for good reason- the wraith eldar thing, I'm really not sure what the army list is now!)
oh, and the massive ork plane
annnd, the stompa construction yard
oh, and another custom battle wagon
can't forget the proper Cargo 8's either (made from taurox's and shipping containers)
plus all the my F'King COOOOOOOOL stuff my partner got me - Radio Controlled Bomm Squigs on Wheels! + some cool buggies!

Sounds amazing! Plenty to be getting on with!
I’ve always had a soft spot for Orkses but never managed to get them off the ground.
Can’t wait to see the Stompa construction yard!
Also, with the new Marine index you can add an ATV to the Outriders unit and it can shoot back!

I made some progress last year, though 2023 was a particularily harsh and unforgiving year!
I completed the bike gang, and they have had one outing on the tabletop, I plan to do a bat rep with the photos at some point.
The wraithguard are progressing, I had enough for a game so that will also be a bat rep! - I'm onto the final unit and working on the other two wraithlords, then I can do the wraithseer and finally the skaatatch wraithknight that i've had as my reward for completing the project since about 2015!
The Bomb squigs are still waiting... such a shame as they are hillarious!
I've got on of the taurox's part way toward being a cargo 8, it'll be joined by one more soon.
I got a stormlord for christmas as the base for a diorama I'm planning, I think i've talked about it in another thread, its built and I'm adding the infantry slowly (decided to go with missile launchers on the heavy teams as they take up less space - and I hope to have some cool re-loading models depicted), I also snagged a few of the less 'fighty' posed guardsmn to have in the rear section - a command area with commissar with book (he'll be up to encouraging the heavy weapon teams), an officer of the fleet and officer of the artillery, plus the weird mechanicus thing with massive scroll from the imperial agents kill team; hopefully it'll look like a tactical briefing going on. I still need to find / make a good commander (possibly the old Creed model).
I've also got a huge pile of scenery from Wargames Tournaments to build - enough to make a decently claustrophobic city layout. Its a good 2 days worth of assembling some where in my future! - It'll be nice to stop using cardboard boxes painted black!
I'll try and get round to posting those bat-reps asap!

So much cool stuff going on!
You don’t do things by halves do you!?
My favourite is your Orks! (Both 40k and Blood Bowl) The freehand flames on the shoulder pads etc came out really well.
So many great conversions throughout!

the orcs were a lot of fun, I gave them nice bases which really dop make a model stand out (normally I cheat because I painted the battlefield black so unbased models don't look out of place!). I also put a lot of extra time into those because they're such a small number of models - most of the time things get 'table top ready' and forgotten about (hence why I want to return to a few armies to do exrta details).
my hands naturally shake (worse when hungry or too much coffee)so fine details are an absolute pig, i am also gradually admitting i need glasses as it takes ages just to focus on small things, and then after a while of painting it takes ages to refocus to see anything far away again! Long distance is fine, I spotted an eagle when last up near the birdwatching spot, before the twitters who were there did with their telescopes! They let me see it close up once it had settled back to it's roost and its flipping huge!! (a white tipped eagle is nesting in the brooks near us, a very rare occurence in this part of the UK, apparently there is a sparrowhawk there now too which I really want to see as they're the worlds fastest birds).
the nurgle knight had areas of it covered in a resist medium which I haven't removed yet, the idea being it'll peel off and look all rusty underneath, i just haven't been brave enough to do it (and I wish I had taken a photo of where i put the resist medium so i knew which areas to try and peel it off from!)
conversions are lots of fun and the process reduces the need for fine details as the 'shape' of the model gives the wow factor rather than the details, orks naturally lend themselves to this more than anything else!
thanks for your support! - there will be more!

Here's a bunch of other bits: destroyed chimera (these models end up in more games than my non-destroyed chimera!) Diorama models for the Meme Tank (re-posted here)

I’m loving your mini dioramas they really look “alive”
I like the look of the Stealth Drone Fliers, how good are they in game?

The stealth Drone's haven't yet stood out as being amazing, though that's not a bad thing as they might equate to being balanced!
The damage output isn't huge so they tend to get overlooked and continue to whittle away models through the course of the battle.
These models were a 3D print and worked out a lot cheaper than FW, similarly, we're using a lot of printed terrain and counts as stuff for the Remote Sensor Drone Tower or whatever its called!
