Greetings this will be my first post here but I must say I have enjoyed the topics discussed on this board so far. So I figured I would show you all what I run when I am playing Orks. Now I have had a lot of experience playing orks but I have only used the new dex three times (with disasterouse results actually). But now that I finnaly have all my modals orginised I think this is the best list I can make at this time. I am limited on modals though my collection has 10 bike, 30 more sluggas, a rockit launcha, a big shoota, Gazgul, mad doc Grotsnik, 3 slavers, 60 grots, and 2 mek boyz. Also I have an unopened box of 16 boyz, and a broken battle wagon I can glue back together.
My normal plan is to set up the Kan/dread wall with the big mek and kff along with the burnas behind them. I hide my trucks in different parts of the board and place the shoota boyz along a side of the kanz. Also the buggies go tank hunting of course. In the first turn I zoom all the trucks forward as far as possible and block the line of sight too the walkers. The walkers stay under the shield and stomp forward. The trucks get popped and the boyz spill out on the far side of the trucks. After they get unentangled they charge forward with the waaagh and attack. By the time the enemie removes the boyz hopefully the kanz and dreads along with the flamer goodness of the burna boyz have arrived and mop up anything that is left. The last codex it worked perfectly, tonight I will try things out against a black templar army with two landraiders. So we will see how it goes. Any advice, comments, or just plain posts would be graet!
