115pounds for 17minis?! That can only be a bad rumor or joke. That would have to be 17 full metal cav minis to get that price. And the only full metal cav isn't released yet and will be the Knights of the Bloodkeep with 70€ for 5 including command...

checked on some pre order web sites (minitures by post .com) there are box sets for each army of various sizes and costs but the pre order for wood elves is 17 exsisting models for £115 i was shocked, but thats whats its billed as!

That can't be right. That seems to be a typo. There are no 17WE minis that get to a total of 115pounds/172,5€

But why should I buy such a box? Most people won't need that combination and if I'm correct, there is no bonus in it (ie you pay the same as for the single minis)

dont know yet about dwarf's or the other race's only looked @ woodies and empire, but unless there's loads of other stuff with it i for one won't fork out that sort of cash, though thess pre order web sites might not have got it right, though i suppose they got to be pretty acurate or you can nail them on false advertising

Just check out www.us.games-workshop.com in the Warhammer section. They have listed all special sales there. Looks like all armies except Vampire Counts get one (ok we just got a complete line of new minis, spearhead, battleforce, etc.). The other deals are listed there, including Harry the Hammer and the ltd. edition rule book

I hate Gyrocopters. They are so useless.

Truth be told, Goblin Fanatics are awesome! I love the concept and execution of their role in the game - LOVE em!

Then you should love the Gyrocopter as well. He can simply draw the Fanatics out of their lines without receiving too much damage
