heya, I figured I'd drop you all a link that I found REALLY helpful when I set to assembling my first model. the quality of the sculpts that privateer press puts out is frickin amazing, and I really find that I like working with the assembly aspect of the hobby in a whole new way. I used to sigh and think 'do I really need to trim up these mould lines?' but with warmachine minis, you're hard pressed to even find a mould line!!! the down side (this is literally the ONLY down side I've found with privateer press product) is that the pieces of each model fit together poorly. the quality in detail and lack of flashing is amazing and great, but there are often gaps that really detract from the model if ignored. to remedy this, I give you a thread on how to properly gap-fill!: www.brushthralls.com/Old/Gap/index.phpbrush thralls is an amazing site for learning about the crafting side of the hobby from painting to converting and modelling. all the tricks of the trade can be found there and I highly recommend spending a bit of time learning some theory to put into practice when your brush hits your pewter good luck!
