Hi everyone, Lately i've come across a noblars army and i'm getting absolutely owned each time I play them. At one third the cost of a guardsman my friend fields 3 regiments of 30 noblars, a couple of large units of slingers, wolf riders, heroes and a nasty scrap launcher . Right now I try to charge his units with lots of fear causing tree spirits, and shoot the s***t of them with multiple units of archers. However his army just absorbs everything, they even made my treeman run after just one turn of combat . Thankfully he doesn't have any magic . So if anyone has any experience playing noblars I would greatly appreciate any tips. Thanks, Karskin

He plays Wood elves.
Can Noblars have Wolf riders? I thought it was Goblins that rode those? Don't listen to me though.... I'm fumbling around in the dark here!

Gnoblars can get Oglah Khan's wolf boys, a dogs of war unit that is even better than normal wolf riders.
As a night goblins player myself I have a little experience with what can kill a mob of greenskins. A Gnoblar's leadership is in the tubes, so shooting them with Panic Arrows or Hail of Doom is a good idea. Those two have sent me packing on turn 1 more times than I care to remember.
Do you have dryads? Dryads would tear gnoblars to little bits if they got into combat unscathed. They have more static than you but with your combined charge you should have flanks and a ton of kills. Plus fear, so likely enough they will only hit you on a six... if there are any left to strike.
Engage the trappers with your skirmishers (IE wardancers, dryads), and they will fall.
And I was going to recommend lore of fire, but wood elves don't have magic so...
