I personally Like High Elves, but any of those 3 are good choices (though I recomend Empire for beginers)

Empire are ok, I don't like there toughness and stuff though. I think im going to collect Dwarves and get the skull pass set, also I think my friend will like Orcs and Goblins and he will want the skull pass to so I will give him my goblins and he will give me his dwarves so now we will both have large forces.

fair enough, your not a fan of low toughness troops then? If you need help with dwarf army composition, just ask

Personally I'd pick either dwarfs ( they've got cannons ), or elves ( there kool ).

Ogres, or my personal favorite, Dogs of War. Vampire Counts are good if you know what your doing, you will either win big or loose big. Skaven are fun if you like horde armies, as are Goblins (or if your like me, Snotlings (who remembers the old Snotling list at the back of the old Army Book)) Tomb Kings are alright, havent had much experience, Woodelves I find its hard to make sense of the list, but thats just me. Bretonians are fun for that Massed Cavalry Charge, Lizard men are the ultimate magic users, and I have no experience in the current Chaos books, any I missed out?

I like Empire, they are the Imperial Guard of fantasy, I like calvary and ranged attacks, the only thing I don't like is theres not much fantasy, does anyone know if there are any dragons or other things that are able to be used in the army?

Grifons, thats about it, and thats only a mount for a lord. However, if you bolster your ranks with some of the Regiments of Renown available to Empire, it should be alright.

What is the best in this game, magic, guns, bows, footmen, dragons, beasts, bolt throwers and stuff, or calvary?

Heh, good choice, what sort of HE army? Cavalry, Shooty, Speary, Sea Guard, Elite or a mix of all.

When I actually get the codex and I learn more about them (probably sunday) I will pick, I think I might want to go with a balanced thing of like 2 calvary, 2 spears, and 2 archers, then 2 special ranged (not including mages), 2 elite infantry, 2 chariots or other special calvary, and some leader stuff.

What is the best in this game, magic, guns, bows, footmen, dragons, beasts, bolt throwers and stuff, or calvary? It really depends on which army you play. Which should be O&G, btw.

orc's i say.. all orcs no goblins
pro's: fun to paint, easy to convert, look cool, you can swarm the enemy with a green tide.
Con's: in order to get green tide you gata spend alot of money, there are goblins in the army (eeewww!!)
dwarfs; pro's: lots of artillery Con's there short...

also dwarves are a slow reacting army and lack cavalry and tend to be on the expensive side
