Hookah, S.C.: The hangover part III.... My suggestions are check your parts anal, mouth, etc. for anything disgusting and then search that trail like a detective. The case of what happened at hookah's place last night will be solved! @jarms: I'm actually still surprised anybody would be playing that game. Isn't it about 6 years old?

Hookah, S.C.: Are there any clues? Perhaps there are people to ask. I find looking first would probably be more entertaining though.

Yesterday at work, everyone was complaining that the weekend was going to be entirely rainy. If they complain about that, tell them that I woke up to a blizzard saturday morning. Complaining about the rain is our official state sport I think it's funny, because I like the rain, and get headaches from the sunny days, so I know that we do, in fact, get a fair amount of sunny weather, even through the winter. But all I hear, all the time, is how gloomy it constantly is, and how we never seen the sun and it rains all the time. We'll get a week of sun, and no comment, but then one day of rain and "Oh God, does it do anything except rain around here?" Folks only seem to pay attention when it gives them something to complain about. It's sunny again today, but I'd lay money that I'll hear at least one person complaining on Monday about how the weekend got rained out.

Today I wasted money on the nutstiest takeout ever. They are now officially boy-flipping-cotted. Oh, and I'm being dragged off to do work for a week.
And I see SOMEONE has updated the profanity filter. Your challenge is accept sir!

So, cute girl walked into my restaurant today. She had three friends, I think. I'm fairly certain I've seen her walking around town before, with backpack and such. Probably with friends there, too.
Anyway, she had a cute smile, braces and all. It's really the laughter (there's always laughter in groups of young people) that makes me enjoy this job.
Now I'm torn between her and the other girl that I used to pass on my way to the job I had last year.

This is what I have been doing all day. Thanks. This mod is quite nice, I have been having fun pelting the Chaos scum into dust. Dauntless are definitely amongst my favourites, they are fast and have good forward fire power. I just wish that there was a few of the other ships, then I could make my actual fleet. Add in some vengeance grand cruisers and torpedo dauntless, along with lunars with novas, and that would be my fleet. It would be nice to have "come to a new heading" too, my ships are too slow to turn when needed.

Add in some vengeance grand cruisers and torpedo dauntless, along with lunars with novas, and that would be my fleet. It would be nice to have "come to a new heading" too, my ships are too slow to turn when needed. Glad your having fun, I keep having trouble with 1 vs 1 with the hard AI they keep spamming Slaughter class cruisers which are cheap and have insane amounts of broadside firepower. I always have the advantage in the start but as soon as 3 to 4 of those babies come out well I find myself in a downhill battle. I find myself instantly teching to Space Station Level 2 while I use my free Furies and Starhawks to capture and contest as many asteroids mines I can find. Then as soon as the upgrade is complete I will flood the enemy with Sword and Firestorm Frigates. With these I will generally secure map dominance and capture the rest of the mines excluding the one closest to the enemy space station. As soon as my economy is secure I will continue to tech up and replace my frigates with several Dauntless Light Cruisers supported by a couple of Dictator Class Cruisers. Depending on how the well the battle is progressing, if my frigates have been able to successfully defend my lines or if Chaos have successfully counter attacked decimating my fleet, will result in my victory or defeat respectively. If my lines held I will consolidate with my fleet consisting of 8 Dauntless's, 2 Dictators and whatever remains of my escorts, attack the enemy base and win. Or if my line falters the Dauntless's and Dictators will attempt to secure lost ground, if they fail I lose. If they successfully repel the assaulters I will reinforce them while I continue to tech, swapping out the Light Cruisers for Gothic Class Cruisers / Dominator Class Cruisers and the Dictators for Mars Class Battlecruisers. In which the entire game becomes a battle of attrition with each side fighting for map control. With me steadily pushing through to the enemies space station or me being ground to a pulp by wave after wave after wave of slaughter cruisers. @jarms: I'm actually still surprised anybody would be playing that game. Isn't it about 6 years old? Heretic, Star Wars: Empire at War is epic nothing beats my Death Star Fleet.

Today, I've been playing Shogun II's Fall of the Samurai campaign as an Imperial faction. It's the summer of 1876 now, I own 42 provinces (about half of Japan), and the Shogunate factions have been wiped out. I have over 4,000,000 in my treasury, and I'm pulling down over 90,000 a turn. I have 6 full stack armies (with two more planned once I get more generals), 5 full stack navies, including a fleet of ironclads, and 10-15 full stack garrisons. Nearly all my towns are fully upgraded, and most have Gatling and cannon towers. Soon, I'll be ready to claim all of Japan for the Chosu Imperial Vanguard! Mwahaha!

Today i was writing a post asking about why nobody here is interested in the new empire re-release for fantasy and proboards froze up. I know this is a guard forum but it'd at least give something to complain about. I think i'll put a thread of it in the fantasy forum. Soon, I'll be ready to claim all of Japan for the Chosu Imperial Vanguard! Mwahaha! Reds Not completed without a nerd-gasm.

Also, liable to be away for a few days. Be nice to Reds while I'm gone.

Dreamt about my mom dying again. Really sick of those dreams.
@jarms: I'm only surprised people still play empire at war or mods of it. I haven't played in forever. If you want to play i could re-install the game. I was better at land battles than space battles and space battles and somewhat galactic conquest were the draw of that game. I'll admit planetary bombardment was cool but the whole death trail of bodies in dawn of war you could create with 'persistent bodies' and the kill syncs really got me into winter assault with guard. Seeing terminators and ogryns strewn across the pathway in the 'into the breach' map was awesome.
It's too bad there was no 2vs2 campaign that allowed people to play on the same side vs another side or even 4 different sides of players and allowed for the other players to spectate the land and space battles of other players during a battle. Might get a little tedious and annoying though getting your fleets and land armies ready and then having somebody else's battle initiate and having to watch it. Still it'd prevent other players from building up while others are attacking. I once had an idea that along for simultaneous land and space battles would be interesting and then bridging the two. For instance if things go well on the ground and some anti-space defenses get silenced then a space battle goes better for the attacking fleet or if all enemy or friendly bombers are taken out then bombing runs are completely unallowed. The same will go for capital ships being silenced preventing planetary bombardments. Btw i was big into voting for that for forces of corruption. That is one thing they did seriously right. I felt they nerfed obi wan and red squadron but if i remember correctly yoda was pretty awesome as a new addition. The death star 2's capital ship killer was also really nice to see. Like i said though if you want to play it some time i'm up for it. Hell if things work out i may just play it with you on a regular basis even if it's just a mod.

@jarms: It'd probably be terrible. I dunno if i want to have the game right now but maybe later today. It must be 11 pm for you over there since it's 7 am here. I thought there was an 8 hour difference in the times at least. I dunno if i'm in the mood to play right now. I haven't played in years anyway and my gaming skill is probably terrible after all this time. Do people actually still play that game? Remember i still have to re-install everything and right now i'd rather be playing starcraft 2 or something but still it'd be nice to have a fellow igmb-er in a game. Currently i've only played with envoy in starcraft 2 and he doesn't really play so he's not that good since it's super popular and everybody is insane at the game.

@jarms: Well i have starcraft 2 and starcraft. I don't play starcraft 1 that much but i play starcraft 2 frequently. I know starcraft 2 is indeed region based and since diablo 2 was also region based starcraft 1 has a good chance of also being region based. If i can't get onto starcraft 1 i'll just play empire at war. You up for a 2vs2 in starcraft or galactic conquest in empire at war? Those are the modes i'd prefer. I'd probably go terran in starcraft. Also if we play starcraft will it be brood war or the original that we play?

I have steam and i'll tell you my name in there in the pm box. Starcraft 2 is indeed region based so i don't think we could play or at least not in normal quick match. What's your starcraft 2 name?
Do you need anything else?

Instantly made me think of a firebat. I haven't tried hard AI's on that game yet. I pretty much have the same start, although I buy 3 cobras to warp in next to enemy fighters when capping points. Do you get the economy upgrade from the asteroids? I'm guessing you do but I haven't played EaW for ages and forgot about it for a few matches.
