Any ideas on this? The reason I suggest this is because the current shotguns are not at all like shotguns. I'm thinking of something like the H&K MP5 so I'll probably use slimmed down bolter clips. But what about the actual gun?

not sure about mp5 but using the slimmed down bolter mag take the lascarbine from the catachain spree half way between the furniture and barrel there is a ridged cut behind this and take the rest of the barrel behind it away. glue the part u cut off to the remainder of the gun. remove the mag then put in the bolter mag. a sort of m4 type smg hope it helps

I just made 5 m4 and 5 g36c conversions for one of my squads. I didnt even try for mp5s, as I knew they would be too tough to think of.

Hmmm, you might be right Ingatius. Perhaps something that just looks like an SMG might work? And thanks to cpl leach, I'll have to try your idea.

An UMP might be easier to do than a mp5. Something like these: ![](http://img268.imageshack.us/img268/1618/tacsquad.jpg) Edit: NB:these aren't mine by the way.

Hmm, I'll have to try and figure those guns out. They look great.
Well, I'm off to chop up some lasguns. Good luck with the conversions captain H.

Yeah. I think they're basically a shortened lasgun body with the old bolter clip.

but remeber the one rule of conversions (at least for me) It's always harder than it looks.

Really? I find simplicity is best, though I do have a knack of being able to visualize things by their shapes and how it will fit together in 3 dimensions...

Well, marine scout legs, cadian helmets with gsed goggles, cadian torsos, chopped-down cadian lasguns, with a rod pinned in for a barrel with biker bolter clips. Those arms stump me, though -- they seem like mix 'n match kitbashing and some possible hot salt deformation... I got nothing for the sgt's head.
Actually, after continuing to stare at them, the arms look like cadian arms that have been deformed, and had the flak shoulder pads removed. That sounds like a lot of work, though...

I think the sergeant's head is from a FW veterans pack. I reckon he greenstuffed the arms. This was for Golden demon mind you.

The wrist and elbow joints. They aren't standard.

I'd say most of them -are- standard, though by no means all. Pretty certain the Sergeant's right arm reaching down is simply a left arm with the shoulder pad cut off and the fold structure at the elbows of most of the others matches Cadian ones exactly perhaps with a bit of cutting or strategic heating. The guy at the back on the left has been pretty heavily greenstuffed though (arm seems longer so I'm guessing that length is putty). Not entirely natural looking it has to be said, think the wrist is bent far more than would be natural (or at the very least comfortable).
Still the goggles are an excellent piece of work, as is the overall effect
