Pick your favorite Special Weapon and Heavy Weapon! Apologies if this is a clone of an old thread!
Now, on to tactics. I'm assuming that the special weapons are being given to standard guard squads unless stated otherwise. HW can be in a guard squad, on Sents/Lemans, or in a HW Platoon.
Please vote and reply! Also, I've not taken into account any opposing special rules that negate certain effects (pinning, etc), since they usually don't apply to troops.

Where is the Heavy stubber? and DK and traitor Guard can choose to use heavy flamers in normal squads. Heavy bolter gets my vote, although if the Heavy stubber was there I would choose that (DK can use them in standard infantry squads) I dislike the autocannon because it is a jack of all trades and master of none. I can only see the point in fielding them againt speed freaks and dark Eldar. The autocannon is a VERY good looking weapon though.

Mortars. There is nothing more intimidating then dropping loads of blast templates on the enemy's lines and causing pinning without giving him a chance to shoot back

missile launcher take smy vote....an anti-tk squad none the less....obvious what it does....takes down armoured vehicles with ease....wuts also good about the ML is its diversity to change to a frag round....same as a nade launcher but longer range....a pack of 3 incoming shells onto a tightly packed group of tyranids is sure to take out a blast full....ML's!!!
