Captain Relic Blade Combi Melta
Command Squad Company Champion Powersword Droppod
Chaplain Powerfist Jumppack
Tac Squad Powersword Flamer Rhino
Tac Squad Powersword Flamer Rhino
5 man Assault Squad
5 man Terminator Squad Heavy Flamer Chainfist
total 1200
Possible Opponents: CSMs, Tyranids, Or Necrons.
A fun little list I made for the hell of it, pretty straight forward and simple I think... my plan is to land the pod near some cover and wait it out a bit while the rhinos and the assault marines push forward and the terminators drop in to provide me with some reinforcements some time mid game.
I'm lacking low AP at range, going to have to go for the throat with this one...should be pretty fun no matter what happens.
Chances are my buddy will want to use Necrons...if so I think I'll be in pretty good shape, just gotta ignore the monolith and get stuck in to make best use of my powerweapons.

Very smashy. You'll be relying on cc a lot, but that's okay - especially against 'crons.

This game was pretty fun, played Necrons...my friend's list was over 15 points, so I added in a teleport homer to give my terminators some pin point accuracy for deep striking. We played pitched battle with 3 objectives. one in each deployment zone and one in the very center. Necrons went first.
at the end I controlled the center, the necrons held on to their objective in the rear, and the objective on myside of the table was contested by the necronlord with a squad of warriors against my terminators.
Game ended on turn 5. The lord had a res orb and I was having a bad night with armor saves, Necrons porbably could have taken it had we gone on longer.
Then again...my Captain and Chaplain had joined forces on the otherside of the table and they where smashing apart every necron warrior and immortal that got in the way...so I might have managed a phase out by turn 7.
