Well, all the rumors I've heard point to a sadist fetish space elves Dark Eldar release either around Christmas or early next year.
Call me crazy, but I actually like the look of the current plastics (Warriors, Raiders, Reaver Jetbikes). I'd be happy with just a codex update and plastic Wyches.

Is this confirmed?
By GW at least.

But are you sure the bottle of ketchup isn't jerking your chain? I mean... it looks like a glass bottle, and all of those are asses.

Does he levitate to work, or does someone carry him in a shopping bag?
Great news - something other than marines get a new codex.

According to my source, Dark Eldar seem poised to strike this October. Awesome.

What is a Dark Eldar?
Is that what happens when an Eldar lays out in the sun too long?

It's a long-lost subspecies of the hateful Xenos condom-hat wearing race, the Eldar. However, these make up for their physical weakness and great pansiness by not looking like a gay pride parade and torturing Emos.

Could be more advanced sculpts, but I like everything DE plastic. The Incubi are delicious as well. Scourges would be nice if they were actually obtainable (only about half the DE range is available in Sweden, and that's for online stores). Wyches have a good look, but needs to be more up to date and better proportioned. When and if the codex comes out I'm kicking my army up again, even if they'll get more popular. That's saying a lot of how much I actually like them as I've ditched other factions I wanted to play because they got a new overpowered codex and became popular (Chaos Marines, Space Wolves, Orks to an extent even if I can still consider them).

New codex is great but tell GW to forget new models: i like the old ones aswell and even if the new ones are awsome the price increase will null and void that joy.
As long as we get a few more people collecting front armour 9 skimmers then (odds are) their will be someone for my russes to blow out of the sky

As long as we get a few more people collecting front armour 9 skimmers then (odds are) their will be someone for my russes to blow out of the sky FA10, by the way... There is no vehicle armor 9. And why the balls would you not want new DE minis? They're so bad now, and mostly metal. Price is going to go up either way - I'd rather see some new candy while they're at it.

Ok, who am I kidding, new DE would be super awesome!

Depends. Rewriting the codex is the cost of one staffer plus actually printing the damn thing. Producing new models is the price of a set of sculptors, new molds (expensive) plus minimal raw materials cost. Likelihood is that we will see new models (combining a new range and a new codex release is the most sensible business decision). My wager is that it's a binary. We either see new codex and new models, or we see nothing.

Consider how many people want the new models + how many people will jump on the bandwagon after realizing that they do exist + how many people are in the "I'm going to play the new codex of the month" club. Now, the real shame is that after this much time, a lot of the people who would have bought new DE minis have already converted theirs, or made peace with the appearance of the existing ones. All they need is a codex. The rest is just bonus at this point.

Sharps, you're crazy. And I agree with you to some extent - I like some of the models, but would like resculpts of others. Having said that, if they are redoing the codex (and therefore likely the models aswell) I think we'll be very happy with the new stuff. Prilladog - stop talking/listening to inanimate objects... it gets you into... difficulties... *Drives up in his Genestealer cult truck.* 9 all around, yeah! *speeds away* Ok, who am I kidding, new DE would be super awesome! *Gabriel breaks wind - the resulting minor change in air pressure causes ymmots Genestealer cult truck to explode* er... sorry Ymmot...

Latest summary from BoLS:
-Lots of poison weapons (close combat and ranged). -Streamlined version of combat drugs. -The army is very lethal on the turn of arrival. -Expect lots of lance weapons. -There is chatter of the game's first lance-melta weapons being in the list. -Units will "power up" and gain abilities in some manner as they kill enemies. -Warriors and Wytches are troops. -Expect new units. -Harlequins are in.

Lots of good news.
Hmm...blasters become melta weapons? (*crosses fingers*)
The power up ability is nothing new, we had have something like that in the current codex.
Wyches as troops without making a wych cult is a good idea.
Lots of poisoned weapons, yay! (Splinter rifles oughta be poisoned darnit.)
Woohoo streamlined combat drugs! (Now made from 90% pure rendered brain chemicals.)
Awesome.

Bah.
Lighten up.
Every new codex is lethal in its own way.
They all have things that could potentially be exploited...

The silliest are the eldar players. I mean, seriously. With the Guard codex, I can build a powerful army. With theirs, I can build an unstoppable one.
