First off, if this question is in the wrong section, I apologize. And for all the spelling mistakes.
So to the question. How does the ork Deff rollas work? I read the rule, and if I got it right, it says something like this: When you tank shock, the unit takes D6 str 10 hits. Which is simple enough, but in the rule book it states that ramming is a special type of tank shock. SO, does this means that if a Deff rolla rams another vehicle, does this vehicle take a hit for the ram AND D6 str 10 hits for the Deff rolla?
I played a game yesterday against the green horde, and he used this nasty Deff rolla on me, was not fun to see my chimeras being squashed by that meanie... Did win the game though, thank the Emperor! But that Deff rolla was seriously devastating in our game, hence this question.
Any help or comments would be greatly help us

Ork FAQs state that the Deff Rolla can be used against Vehicles, and does inflict those hits, sorry to say. That's why it's moved to the top of my personal target priority list when I play against Orks.
