Hey guys, just stating with the Black Templars. I think I'm pretty well understanding everything, except for the Righteous Zeal rule. Could somebody break it down for me?

I'll take a crack at it.
The Rightous Zeal rule means that if you take ANY casualties in a basic infantry squad, you test morale. If you fail, you fall back or are pinned as normal. However, if you pass, you make a consolidation move toward the nearest visible enemy unit.
So, let's say a squad of Guardsman fires at your Crusdaer Squad, and kills one. You will take a morale check. If you fail, you fall back. If you pass, you move 1d6 towards those Guardsmen (or the nearest enemy unit) immediatley.
THis is prety hue for the Templars, since it can get you across the board faster, but also forces you to take a lot of Ld checks at Ld 8. This is why it's usually advisable to have a Castellan or Marshal on the table, so you can have your infantry use his leadership for those tests.

Okay, I think I understand now. So if during my enemy's shooting face if I lose anyone and pass my leadership test I get to move 1D6 during my enemy's shooting phase. Thanks for the clarification.

You got it. Just remember you still run away if you fail.

Does that mean you can fall back from a single casualty?

Yeah, but ATSKNF means they can regroup, but yeah they can fall back from one dude getting popped off.
