1000pt eldar

Im a newbie to the eldar and would like any comments and advice on my current army list:

HQ

Avatar

Farseer: Runes of witnessing, Spiritstones, Guide, Doom, Mindwar


Troops

2 x 10 Dire Avengers: Exarch, Power Weapon and Shield, Bladestorm


Fast Attack

10 Swooping Hawks: Exarch, Skyleap, Intercept


Heavy Support

Wraith Lord: Wraith Sword, Star Cannon


Total: 1001

The plan is to have the avengers as anti infantry, using guide, doom and bladestorm while my hawks drop in near tanks to use thier grenades. My avatar and wraithlord could then handle heavy infantry such as terminators.

It's a really small, elite style army. Be sure to advance the Wraithlord and Avatar so that cover obscures them, or neutralize any long-ranged threats with the swooping hawks.

Yeah it seems like a pretty solid list. I play against Eldar more than any other army. In 1000 points a Wraithlord can do alot of damage if you play it right. First time i played against my mates eldar, his Wraithlord killed my Leman russ, 1 Vet squad and was tied in combat with my other vet squad at the end of the game (i only had the Sgt and 1 other Guardsman). It was pretty upsetting. it did more damage than anything else. And because i tried to concentrate on killing it the rest of his army managed to seize 2 objectives and win the game.
