nearly  this is my 3rd zanthrope it has a guard solder in the air about to get killed by the zanthrope his are is wounded or broken. the guard solder is looking up in aw of the zanthropes power. (this is the first guard solder i painted so go easy on it) the un lucky soldger has no right eye either. he doesn't seem to be very lucky      the zanthrope snaped his arm what the tyranids saidand i thought putting the zoanthrope on the base was hard.... at the last minute i decided to make a custom transfer for my solder and his unlucky ness. i spent 15 min making the transfer and then i spent an hour an 30 min putting it on. that was annoying. sorry about the low quality of the pic but that is what happens when you zoom 18 inches  |

What's really happening is that the guardsman (whos wounded after taking out a 'fex) has run out of ammo, so he's jumped up into the air and is about to headbutt the zanthrope which will give it such a bad headache it's head'll explode.

you know, thank you for this post, i havent been painting in over a month, i just felt uninspired......
but this scene has got me inspired to make a wounded guardsman!!!!! wow thank you so much i feel like painting again......then ill post it later...when im finished

OK for you i will tell you my future guard conversions. the thing which i am making good progress in is my walking sentinel. another thing that I'm getting off the ground is my Sargent doing a back flip avoiding a termagaunt shot and returning a shot with his mighty las pistol I've Been working on a death leaper jumping into a gaurd squad from a cliff or something but lately I've been thanking of changing that to a building. the final thing I've been working on is a milatary base. if you want to give me advice please register on the tyranid site one more thing how would you rate my painting skills on a 1-10 #scale and is a free move a hole turn or just a movement faze? |

Nice, very nice scene... you shout have just made an after scene... when the Zoan is covered in blood and gore and there are little guard bitz all over the base.

Wow. I'm glad you posted in this, old as it is... it has also given me a great idea. My Greater Daemon shall have a victim Guard as a sacrifice. I'll post up a pic as soon as I've got it ready.

I like syphons better who was it that said 'deploying an exterminatus is an easy answer to a problem that more often than not costs the imperial commander his commission as a result of his decision to employ such means' ... or something. this thread doesn't need to be vaporized, there's still hope for it |
