I just spent the last half hour going through the most recent DE faq/errata, 40k errata and the DE codex, and I can't really answer (for sure) one of my questions about the HQ selections.
The army can only have one Archon or Archite. They're the most powerful leaders. I'm with them here. However, the question then comes when you they say "If the army is led by a wych lord..."
Does this mean it's possible to take an Archon and a Dracite in the same list? The wording of "is led by" leaves it rather ambiguous. If the Archons and Archites are the most powerful, they would be considered "leading" and then the 2nd hq is along for support. This means the army isn't led by the wych, and you can keep the Dark Eldar Lords as able to be used.
I mean, if they wanted it one or the other, it would have been a lot simpler to just say "if the army includes a wych lord" rather than "is led by".
Now, I agree if you have an Archite, you can't have a dracon, as then the army is clearly led by a wych lord, and then the normal Dark Eldar Lords are not allowable.
The other thing that makes this even more frustrating, is there is nothing in the FAQ about it, and the 6 times that I know the question has been called into the rule boys at GW, we're currently 3 to 3 on which way they call it. So I guess even GW doesn't know...

Ancient wording. Taking an archon + anything in the same list is fine, and is done by many people. That's when the archon leads.
Now when the wych lord choices are the primary leaders, you can't take either of the Lord choices. That's when you have a wych cult.
It says right in the sidebar that as many wych lords as the mission allows can be taken.
