"Hey, wanna play a 2,000 point game where you only get 1,250 points?" Maybe the store retard would say yes, but no one else would. I would, Give me 1,250 Points Deamonhunters Army, So If I would, does that make me the store Retard?

Well, it would make you one of two things if you thought you had a chance at winning.
a) The store 'Tard b) The store's ranking tactition
I make the distinction because I have seen a man never loose, no matter the army (even when he switched rosters with his opponent). Vary rarely does it happen, but I do know there are a few who could win against those odds. However, 98% of the time, it's the store tard.

Azalar congrats on becoming te stores ranking tactician. ;)Shouldn't be that difficult to win with 1250pts GKs vs 2000 points demons on a demon world...

You see Colonel Cian, your not really helping my opinion on you
By first of calling me the Store Tard And then calling me the Stores Ranking Tactician
Im neither, I can just fight, and make good tactical decisions.

You're right, on the Hardened Veterans, I stand corrected. However, in terms of legality of a codex, I can't believe I actually have to explain this, but I will. When new rules for an army are released, the old ones are no longer valid. . True, but Codex: Catachans came out after 3rd edition IG codex, yet this didn't render 3rd edition IG codex illegal did it? I think you missed the point. Codex: Catachans is a supplement to the IG codex, not a replacement. It quite clearley states this in the Catachans Codex. Deathworlds/Catachan Codex has been updated to run with 4th edition and is legal. You don't need opponents permission to use the list, but you must let them read the rules should they so wish. But that is getting away from the point. I must congratulate you Knight on some awesome conversions. If you need any help with Deathworld rules just give me a shout.

I always play highly retarded armies or scenarios.. mostly due to the fact that we have a ton of newer players and older players.. newer players I try to give an advantage of some sort either in points or scenarios.. and with the older players i try to make interesting scenarios that really test players ability to play.. and most of these are at tournaments.. like all foot slogger tourniments.. or ones that require you to be extremely fast to reach the objectives and such.. makes the games different and more fun.. and as far as themed armies go ( complete deamon host slannesh army of doom for example.. ) I am all over it.. lets me see if I can win with the odds so far againest me or see how fast I can win with the odds in my favour.. so yeah put me in the store tard camp cause that camp has more fun

I do appologize for offending (though I don't really care what anyone's opinion of me is) if I did offend. In the store that I frequent, people get angry quickly, blame their army of choice for them losing (rather than their questionable tactics) and if someone does win with points stacked against them, either they're running a cheese-tacular list or they're cheating. Occasionally it's for shining brilliance. So the one way to say that you truly won, fair and square, in my store is to play an evenly matched game. And the only reason that I used the Grey Knights vs. Daemons on a Daemon World is because none of the GK players in my store could be me (and I'm not nearly the greatest at all) on a normal field when half of my 'Nettes either died or didn't come in at all, and this is when I forgot that the 'Nettes had "Without Numbers" from the GKs. Of course, none of them were really all that good, I'm certain.
I do realize that suppliments do not invalidate the core codex, I'm not THAT stupid. However, More recent rules (Like the Armageddon Steel Legion Doctrine List) do invalidate the previous rules for the army (Like the Armageddon Steel Legion from Codex: Armageddon). However, since GW did re-validate the Codex: Catachan (for some rediculous reason) then they're legal and fine by me. I thought I had made my consession of this point clear earlier, but no worries.
Back on topic, Knight, are there any more units that you'll be adding, like Sentinels and the like? I showed the pictures of what you've completed to some guys in my store and they're quite impressed and eager to see more.

Unfortunatly I stopped working on my current 40K projects to get my Skaven finished, so it could take somewhile till I get back to the Pathfinders.
I'm still thinking about adding some Deathworld Sentinals, but I think that I'll more likely go with 3 Patrol Squads as Fast Attack choices.

you know you can always just consider them finished when you have a full squad. IG armies actually gain coolness the more personality hey have and having a squad of some random regiment that's been absorbed into another after taking horrendous losses is often an aspect that adds character and fluffiness to your list while serving to, at the same time, keep your interest peaked in your army.
one of my friends has cadians, valhallans, and vostroyans in his list and it looks great!

Hmm. Good idea. I could make the Pathfinders the Veteran squad in the Regarian Rifles army I have... and the greenish and brownish colours should break up the uniformed red and gray Rifles...
