You may be sorta "meh" right now about them but wait until the torpedos and lances start flying... you'll be glad you have those ships around.

Just wanted to ask you Cosmic: How did you do the engine effects on your models? I think it is the one thing that my models are lacking. I may have to change the colours a bit though, your method may get lost on my blue models. Maybe green or red...

All my threads are coming back from the dead!! Zombie Apocalypse!!! *Runs away flailing arms* Um the engines were just various shades of Blue, working darkest to lightest everywhere where the light would show. Red might be good with yours, or a yellow. Basically just start like this... 1) Slightly watered base colour around the area, on the surfaces nearest the exhausty bit and inside. 2) Add some white and repeat a couple of times, increasing the white slightly and getting CLOSER to the source. 3) Then just paint the inside of the engines pure White This is probably the best picture to show the effect....  |

Ok, here are few quick pics of some of my ships as promised. Are people intersted in BFG? I could do a thread with the rest of fleet if so. great work im sure you had the same problem as i did (mine came out looking more yellow) i found that playing with the contrast and the lighting helped
