I tbink someone dubbed him "upguard" the other day. Anyway, great looming fleets guys. I have a (mostly) craftworld eldar fleet that is a mix of fresh built and primed. Where are people getting those nifty black stands from? I want those for my ships.

Any idea how to make a metal cobra destroyer fit on the base?. The hole in the bottom of the cobra is too big, green stuff isn't working (the cobra just tilts as if it wasn't their and the green stuff get smushed out of the way)

I bought a pack of 4 back when BFG was first out and I think they went on just fine. If the hole is already large enough I'd suggest holding it in position for longer and possibly lying the Cobra on it's back and holding or propping up the flying base.

The hole in one of the cobras is just right (they did come in a pack of 4), the other three have holes that are too big, in fact the holes are almost as big as the top of the base stem.
Also how long should I leave greenstuff to dry? Because after 24 hours it still wasn't strong enough (perhaps because the cobra is too heavy, I dread to think about the problems I will face on the Dauntless), at this rate my only option will be to snap off the nub and sand the stem back till it fits the hole. YAY.

The recent advertisment in the search for threads thread brought me here Did you have issues getting the stand to fit in the holes with the battleships? Both ends were half the size of the holes so i had to use GS and super glue but due to the weight it keeps snapping Also theres 3 holes down the middle and one on each wing which have no parts to fit into them :/ That being said if anyone wants to trade an unpainted battleship with me i have 2 and only want 1 Edit : Just seen the posts about the stands, guess i missed em really cant be arsed to edit the post tho -.-

Check my picutre thread (later-ish posts, link in my singature) as I just recently put up pics of my Imperial BFG fleet. My Chaos fleet will be making an appearance at some point in the future...

Cosmic, what is the scale of the BFG ships?
I'm asking because I've wanted to make a diorama for years, featuring BFG models, 40K models and maybe even some Epic models.

A much easier method would be to upload the image to Photobucket and then copy and paste the IMG code into a response here.

Here's a clue, its IMG with the picture code in the middle and /IMG at the end. Little square brackets [ and ] go around the IMG bit. Don't worry, it took me 6 months how to figure it out! And I still can't do scripted links too well.....
