They would be fine. All IG models are designed to fit together. The sculptors use the same exact base body, weapons, helmets etc for everything. They even know exactly how to build the necks so they always fit into the torso.

I've seen pics of someone who did it, and it looked awesome. Edit: "I'm sorry Erwin, but your pictures are in another castle." So instead, here's a picture of the Imperial Russian Army

Probably the Turks.

Doubt that it would work that well, simply due to the fact that the Cadian FW heads are designed to fit on the plastic Cadians. The Elysians on the other hand are quite a bit smaller than Cadians. I've seen them directly besides each other and the size difference is quite visible

W00t, just found this pic when I was googling 'Elysian Cadian Heads', and imho, it looks really good. I wish I could see another pic of this, as this is all I could find. To the guy above: It doesn't look awkward to me. And also, I've been looking at the Cadian infantry heads Looking at this, it seems that the forgeworld resin has a noticable difference in size then the plastic counterpart. Not to mention, the heads also seem a bit small for the plastic bodies.

You could always use green stuff to fix the holes for the arms.

The heads go OK but there is a difference in shoulderpads. If you are really that bothered, get one of your many spare cadian arms and hack off the shoulder pad, do the same on the FW one (wear a mask, resin is itchy in your lungs!) and swap them! Ta da!

Spectre I got the Cadian upgrade kits off FW and some of the are noticably smaller than the standard 28mm bodies. The heads were all fine though. And once its painted up you can barely notice the difference.

GW aren't standard 28mm, they're roughly 30mm heroic scale models with giant hands and weapons. Cool idea spectre, if even more abhorrently expensive than Elysians alone would be.

...more abhorrently expensive than Elysians alone would be. Too true Although a brilliantly insane idea none the less! Have the mentioned cadian and elysian bits been purchased yet?

No, got to wait for a big non-essential government college grant before I can buy it. But I'll post pictures once I do get them. Btw, the only way I would do this is with the massive amounts of disposable income I will be getting during my college years.
Edit: I also plan on selling all the extras for seemingly reasonable prices on ebay. That always seems to work well.
