WOW  These look awesome. I really like them, especially the sarge is cool. What head did you use on him? Now make fluff that is at the same level as the minis and some proffesional story writers could get a problem ;D |

I second what knight said...they are awesome....the detail in the faces is amazing.
To improve them.....hmmm...nup, can't find anything, highlights are great, the paint job is clean but they look like they have had a battle or 4.
Great work...and definitely get some fluff up for them.

Thanks for the positive replies knight and GoD. This helps me in the motivation department. The head for the sgt. is from the Empire cannon crew. I'm working on the fluff can I post it here?

those look to be a mixture of bret man at arms with cadians.. very nice combination.. only beef with the models.. the guns cant shoot.. no barrel holes  someone had to say it i agree on the serg.. thats awsome looking.. gives it a very "I'm tough, so follow me" look to him.. keep it up. that sergeant is an instant classic. I'm seriously restraining myself from going to bwbits.com right now and ordering one of those heads... ...ok screw it, I'm going to bwbits.com lol...just window shopping though! >_>

I really want to create this army using as many different heads from GW's range as I can. I will post more as I go this helps keep me motivated. I am also ordering some Cadain bits from FW. I realize now how pictures can really bring out flaws.I need to do some touch up on a few of the guys.
Turtleboy I am going to get my hands on that head from BWbits. That's cool, I am hoping to give each of my Sgt.'s and command officers unique heads. Thanks for all the feedback and grisnik I will try to repost with some gun barrels!

the lasguns don't really need gun barrels (well maybe a little painted on dot of black is all if anything) but the special and heavy weapons (especially stuff like grenade launchers and big bore weaponry look 1000% better with at least painted on gun barrels.

yeah they dont "NEED" gun barrels.. but with such a nice paint job they would just look that much better when all the details are picked out.. still a ncie paint job though.. just a bit picky.. ( saying this now and I know i have models sitting on my shelf looking just like yours.. painted and without the ability to lay a single shot ) |

i like the mix of bretonian bits and cadian bits...overall very nice.
my only niggle is the bases look well...underpainted compared to the rest of the force...maybe another drybrush or some brown flock would help.
