make them scouts cause they look more like the characters. make the bolter a bit longer so you can put a chain saw on it [instant lancer]. Make the ogrn have that cracked skin thing which you can do with a knife [instant locust].
hmm i guess thats about it good luck man i can't wait to see it. ;D
Cheers Dethklok

well i was lookin at some screen shots...and if i used scouts theyd be a bit too small..
i was going to use the running marine legs, and a space marine body.
for the heads i was going to use a catachan head with a bandana, and for the partner i was going to use the ig sergeant head.
the ogre is going to be an iron gut. instead of a sword im going to use a chainsword from the inquisitor set
as far as the marine guns go....itll be a challenge...i might just cut off the handles and fit a chainsaw on there somehow....

Can't wait to see it. Maybe you could give one a shotgun and one something else to skip around the lancer thing if u cant find one ur comfortable with. but it would'nt be as cool. Remember, Locusts have no nose and no ears!

Locusts scare me...
The space marine body would be a good base, are you gonna shave off the imperial emblem and make him look like a 40K version of Gears of War or are you gonna make it look fancy with the whole gears of war look?

The enemies would look cool, all you need is some greenstuff and like a knife or sculpting tool and maybe a ripper gun.

I thought I'd try the idea of using scouts for COG awhile back, and i found the scout bodies with catachan heads did work really well (if you havent already found that out). I painted mine with scab red armour and black fatiques, to keep them dark and stealthy, but being im not a great painter you could probably spruce the idea up abit. Hows it going by the way?

Just my two cents:
Stop this right now. I am sure there's plenty of Fenixes, Doms, Cole"trains" and Bards out there. Same goes for everybody that's trying to make Spartans. Don't.

Its just converting, its part of the fun of the hobby, its not like i would dream of trying to pass them of as COG in a game

True, true. I know it's your own project and all, but I just get tired of thousands of people doing the same time after some influential movie comes out.

hey, if someone's inspired and wants to spend their money doing it then ultimately it's their choice. I'd personally like to see how fuzziness did, he's a good painter and could do it justice. as far as spartans go, it's just like the cadians were - when eye of terror was raging and they came out everyone went mad about them, but now, like 4 years later they aren't the flavor of the month anymore but I've still got my cadian 7th army that's all painted and sexy looking and it gets looks for how ace it is, regardless of how generic and overdone it was at its inception. ultimately, it was my money and my decision. i sat up all night and said 'what colors do I use?' in the end I conceeded that GW picked the best colors so I jumped on the band wagon and did it too if I hadn't of done that I would have abandoned my guard army long ago too, so the decisions we make for ourselves and our investments are often good ones for us. I say go for it fuzziness. if that's what interests you and makes you wild about your models then hook it up bro!

I don't care who they are they should still follow rules, especially a mod since they are supposed to be examples of board behavior.
