They don't cut themselves, they cut others. Significant difference.

They're still 40k goths. They are in my opinion anyway.
The models definitely do look super-sexified though.

I've already got a paint scheme figured out for the Kabal of Frolicking Kittens.

More fetishist than goths imo, altho I guess that isnt always mutually exclusive. I like the new combat drugs, similar to the old ones, but not a big cord coming out the belly that just looked weird to me, altho it does look like it goes thru a nipple now, but hard to tell til i see the modesl up close. Just hoping they have some nice new rules to match Not sure on what paint scheme to use just yet. Tempted with the metalic blue with blue wash that was shownin the old dex, looked cool, and not too dark (have a few darker armies so want something that stands out a bit more, but still look menecing) but the old black with extreme green or blue highlights is hard to resist, they do look v cool. Gonna wait til i tread the new dex, see what new models are available and then decide, but like a 5 year old on Christmas eve, I just CAN NOT WAIT TILL NOVEMBER!!!!!!!!!!!

Red, black, and white are the colors I use for the schemes, just in variations and with different other colors.
I think the DE will get black with red highlights.

I liked the colour scheme that was in the old rulebook - not a colour per se as it was just a picture. Kind of rusted dark silver armour plates... anyone remember what I'm talking about?

There goes a $200 chunk of my paycheck next month.
Hm, also just saw pictures of the hellions and mandrakes...
something about the mandrakes just don't fit with me, they're cool...but I don't feel like they're must haves by any means.
The hellions would look a lot better with warrior helmets. (yay, conversion ideas!)

Let's hope one of you has brought either a paddle or a motor...
In other news (ok, not news - just a question) - Has anyone managed to have a flick through the new codex yet? Just wondering if the Harlequins ended up being in the Dark Eldar list? Fluff wise they do perform in Commoragh(sp?), so do/would they go to war with the Dark Kin for any reason?

I'm curious about who wrote the codex.

Just wondering if the Harlequins ended up being in the Dark Eldar list? Fluff wise they do perform in Commoragh(sp?), so do/would they go to war with the Dark Kin for any reason? Yes. I was reading some comments in BoLs today, where someone said he had a good look at the codex, and harlequins are in. Obviously no new models: the current ones are only 4 years old. With elites it's a question of incubi or harlequins. Harlequins certainly aren't the 'good guys' and they perform for all the eldar, regardless of whether they're exodites, craftworlders or pirates. They would certainly go to war against humans or chaos worshippers in alliance with dark eldar.

The Harlequins purpose is to protect the Black Library and fight Chaos no matter what. Even if that means allying with the True Kin, the Craftworlders, or the Exodites.

Well, in a year or so maybe when I can afford it.

Ah, but the question is: What size wych cult? 500pts? 1000pts? more?
I'm sorely tempted to do a DE army just so I can use the phrase "Bring me some spleens!"...

You don't need a DE army for that. Just use that to announce your presence when you enter a game store.

I could... (heck, I've done while entering a computer store before...)... but it just seems more appropriate to back it up with an army of DE...
Well, I'll get the codex and make a list regardless. I suppose it will mainly depend on the possibilities provided by the models (in particular the lord) and if I am struck by random inspiration...
