I'm doing a jungle camo pattern on my tank and the colours are all fine and stuff its just where the edges meet when it goes from one colour to the next they arny very crisp. I want a nice ditinctive line between one colour and the next not a rough edge to it. Is there a nice technique i can get the where the colours meet crisp like the image below? Ill put a circle about what i mean if you didnt get it Regards Morin

buy heaps of adhesive putty like blue tac and layer it in lines or patterns, then paint 1 colour then remove the strips and you will have the undercoat then you can either just paint the rest the different colour or to be neater put the adhesive putty on again hope this helps

The bluetack is your best option as that gets ito all the nooks and crannies.

Thats a lot of Blu tac tho Im afraid tho it will get caught in the crannys and i wont be able to get it out but surely my paint will run under it?

You only need to put it in thin strips where you want the edges and you can do the tank in stages ie do one side then when thats dry do the next etc etc.... I'm into RC tanking and most of the guys recommed the blue tack method. Though I did mine free hand as I wanted a done in the field by the cew look.

i like doing it free hand over a black undercoat. If u do 2 colours, paint the 1st colour in wateva shape, then wen ur doing the second colour just leave 1mm-2mm gap between the colours

Free hand or blue tack are the most effective methods for tank camo. For those who make urban tank camo also the ruler is a considerable alternative majorjav: Panzerkampfwagen V Panther, Panzerkampfwagen VI Tiger

I really like the damaged anti magnetic cover on the metal, how did you create it? I used air drying clay and a junior hacksaw blade. It's 1/16 scale so it's pretty big-
