first outing for these guys last night, only a little 200 point skirmish against my girlfriends Tau.
Was ace to get them on the table, and as first games ever go it was pretty awesome.
Synopsis is ...
My Girlfriend took advantage of her longer range and held position for the first move opting to try to knock off my advance a bit. This resulted in 4 losses of squad 1, but in doing so gave me the advantage of allowing me to move into closer quarters and from turn 3 the game was in my hands. wiped her out mid way through turn 5.
Not an amazing victory as i had no idea what i was doing and she was very rusty, but highlighted some odities in my command squad that i will be correcting before the next game.
