Looks like a mix of Goblin Green and Skull White. Probably over a thin wash of Dark Angels Green over a white undercoat.

I was thinking along the lines of what bobahat said. easiest way to do that is to go with the vallejo paints, they come in eyedropper bottles that make for insanely easy paint mixing. if you do alot of the same color, you can create formulas of how many drops of green to how many drops of white to attain uniform color consistencies. it's a great paint line.

I decided against that green and went for an ice blue left, fiery orange right. How do I make it stand out, though? Maybe run a black line through the middle of their tunics?

Blue and orange? thinking about it is making me want to hurl! I am sure you have thought it through though. I definately wouldn't worry about making them stand out, it's blue and orange! Good luck.

Why not? before doing anything like this you should definately concider your options and think about what you want to do.

There is nothing wrong with blue and orange in my opinion. those are fin colors to use, i've seen them together and they look pretty good, they contrast eachother, and when two contrasting colors are put together they usually look pretty well together.
As for trying to make it stand out i think it would be simple enough to paint half of it blue and half of it orange and leave it at that.
